B'c we couldn't get into Manzano Mountain State Park due to rain/impassable road, we ended up here among the mostly full-timers and work crews. Price was reasonable and one of the wifi networks was reasonably fast, but no Verizon bars, though we are right on the edge of town. Showers look clean, but it's a muddy trek over to them and will probably skip it. The water smells like sulfur and my husband stepped in dog$#!% while hooking up. Purely a necessary overnight stop and at least there is OATV. Lots of trucks on Hwy 60 and regular trains.
OK for one night

It was getting late and we needed a place to stay. My wife found this on Passport America. Sites are parking lot style. It was dark and a little hard to see. But they had many sites available. Electric and sewer are at each site. But not every site has water. It has to be shared. Bathroom and shower building were pretty clean. They were also heated Showers were small but there was plenty of water. We would stop here for one night on the way somewhere again. We would not spend more time than that.
