Site we stayed in was pretty unlevel (it slopes to the back). We have a 37 foot class A and had enough room to park our car in front on the RV. Hook ups were fine, no issues with power. Fair amount of sites were closed due to construction, but didn’t actually see anyone working at these sites. I did not use any of the facilities (pool, laundry, restrooms, shower) so I can’t speak to them personally. My husband did stop in a restroom and said it was clean. I used to live in Las Vegas and can say that the park is not in a great neighborhood. I personally would not go walking in the area outside the resort. With a little TLC seems like the park has some potential. Hopefully, it improves with the construction.

It does fit large rigs, but your neighbors are close, and it is FHU. There are a lot of full-timers at this park. The RV resort is decently maintained and has multiple laundry facilities and restrooms. There is a large heated pool and a nice deck area for relaxing. They have large, fenced dog run that could be cleaner. There is also an office and community room where there is live music and other entertainment during the week. This park does have tiny houses for rent and they are well kept. It is in a decent location, close to shopping and casinos. Downtown Las Vegas is just a couple miles away and a quick drive. The resort is located on busy roads which can be noisy at times. There is a ranger station at the entrance and security. The park had some issues with electricity being rewired and they were currently down 86 spots, but we were told they would be fixed soon. Overall, a nice park and a good stay close to everything. For videos on this park and others, check out our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.

Like we were coming to our site at the same time as someone else was going to theirs and we couldn’t both fit on the road tight. It’s just really poorly laid out and almost as poorly maintained. We were told they were down 75 sites due to electrical issues, but we did not experience any low voltage or outages. There are trees which is pretty nice, but the one in our site badly needed trimmed. The sites are quite unlevel. You’ll need blocks along with your auto level or your wheels will be off the ground. Our rig is large but not huge, a 40 ft fifth wheel and we barely fit, but so did everyone else. The saving grace for this place was that everyone from the staff to our neighbors were fantastically nice and helpful.

Every park I've been to this past year has been being upgraded. The place is kept clean and the landscaping is well maintained. For a big parking lot, this is a nice-looking park. You'll walk up and down the rows of sardine-packed RVs and then come to a clearing with some nice landscaping. The sites are short and skinny which means people have to park their cars partly on the roads which make getting into spots particularly difficult. If you want a spot with 50 AMP service you'll have to pay for it, even if you're a TT member, iirc, it's $3 a night. A few casinos are very close to the park with at least one within walking distance. However, if you're going to walk outside the park, you're going to be stepping over homeless people along the way. I walked from the park two blocks to a 7-11 and saw at least five homeless people camped out along the way. If you have your CCP, you're going to want to use it in this neighborHOOD. I'm sure they're aware of which neighborhood they are in because this is the only TT park I've been to yet that has the security gate manned 24/7. I think I had to use my gate code once, and that was because the ranger was busy checking someone in. It's a nice park and if I ever want to go to Vegas or fish in Lake Meade, I'd not hesitate to stay here again.

The spots are packed in tight with very little room to park your vehicle. Our spot was next to a fire hydrant so we had a little extra room to park our truck but we were 1 of 2. The spots are gravel and ours was very hard to get level in even with auto level.. we had SO many leveling blocks under the back. No bench, no fire pit, nothing extra. There was trash at our site, which seemed pretty standard. We barely had cell service the whole time (T-Mobile) and there is no free WiFi, it’s extra. We also had to pay extra for a 50 amp site (which was necessary to run our AC because it was so hot). The pool was very small, not heated, deteriorating, but clean at least. There are 3 laundry facilities and only 4 working washers and 4 working dryers in the whole 200+ spot campground spread out over 3 different buildings. This made for long waits to do any laundry. There is no change machine on site and they offer the wash connect app, but the app can’t find 6/8 machines which is a problem. Lots of trailer park looking trailers with junk, trash, and permanent structures built on. The campground is gated which is nice because it’s not in the best area and they have barbed wire around the whole thing.Overall, we would stay here again if we had to, because it was free but it is definitely a pretty dumpy campground.

Upon reading some past reviews there was a mention of the U turn on Boulder St to get into the entrance to TT.. Some have said "OMG" or "three lanes of high speed traffic to do a u turn.."" blah blah blah.. While you do have the possibility of a U turn if you come that way Google/ GPS maps it not that bad. Yes there is 3 lanes of traffic but you have a Bus Lane on the right side of the road you can get in, and there is a traffic light not far down the road. It's not a tight turn and I have done, over the course of the 9 days, that turn a bunch of times.. we have to wait to turn some and some we come to a clear road. (we can down Nells Rd due to a wreck on I-15 so we did not do the u-turn) .. The TT sign a tall brown sign somewhat hidden behind the " Mobile Home Depot" sign. a bright yellow deal. So be looking for that when make the U-turn. We got assigned site 93,, on the end by the LP refill station ( $3.24 gallon, Costco $2.08) and the grass and trees etc. during the fall, late Oct, you get some afternoon shade (spot 94 is better shade) both are nice and deep and good width compared to the other spot we saw when riding bikes around the compound. (this whole section 93 -103 are nice) some of the spot in back 1-43 were tighter and not as deep it seems. . We did some laundry in restroom #3 which has 2 washer and 2 dryers. $1.25 for front load washer and 1.25 for 60 mins of dryer.. (dryer vent need CLEANING) the washer work well dryer OK.. (if you need more time there is no way to just add a quarter you have to do the entire 1.25.. ) remember you are in the desert.. hanging stuff up will dry rather quickly in or outside. You do some airplane noise depending on wind direction, there are helicopters that fly around, and the EMS truck with sirens, typical city stuff.. We did not hear of any thiefs the area which is surrounded with a wall and barbed wire on top. You are not from the the Strip and the Fremont Experience. the bus system https://www.rtcsnv.com/, The Deuce, https://www.visitlasvegas.com/experience/post/getting-around-vegas/ runs up and down boulder and the strip which is a nice easy to get on and off experience. I had people tell me to Stay off Boulder at night.. I was out there at night and it not that bad.. You get on the bus, you ride, you get off the bus no problem.. The "homeless" know not to screw around with the "visitors" or they will get bounced out of the area QUICK. If you have a problem let the driver know.. A day bus fare ticket is $8 bucks..3 days pass is $20. there is a stop to the left down about 100 yards heading toward strip and on across boulder to the right a little further but not that far when walking and well lit at night. Visit Red Rock Canyon,, NPS pass work there, the hiking is great and the area amazing.. We did the "Tanks" hike and it was some scrambling up rocks :) .. great view at the end if you go a bit further up the rocks.. Hoover dam and lake mead, boulder city close.. lots to do or just stay put and chill .. the water here is HARD.. 375 TDS.. we got a water softener to help with this.. ALso a water dispenser by the #2 restrooms at .25 gallon.. 15 TDS large enough for a 5 gallon container.. (you put in a quarter it runs and then stops.. you put anonter .25 each gallon.. etc etc. etc. ) The pool was open and heated.. hot tub not.. (???) that make no sense.. They could use some solar water heating panels like you see in florida.. Over all a nice place.. much better than some of the reviews but you have to temper with the fact this is not costing you other than for 50 amp. There are several other RV places we drove through that are not the $35 a night better for the most part.. (the are nice for sure) We like it here and plan to come back in the future..

I say this because if you go to Vegas for the strip then this is probably perfect for you but if you were going to Vegas for business or other purposes I would pay to find another place outside of Vegas. It is cramped noisy and some of the full-time residents are living in truck campers without the trucks. Hosts were nice and accommodating.

Based on reviews from so many different sites, we expected something along the lines of Pacifica, which is to say a literal parking lot. WRONG! It's an older campground so the sites are not huge, but we had no problems getting all 43' tucked in. One neighbor volunteered to move their vehicle which made things so much easier. Room for slides? You bet! Much more than Pacifica has. Parking the truck is a challenge, though as it's only 53'x20 (which is fairly large for this campground). The sites are almost all gravel with the trees and shrubs where possible... it's a desert, so they're doing a great job on that. They assign spots here, so you don't have to worry about a 25' trailer taking up a big-rig site. I like that a lot. While it's fun to be in a prime location, I have never complained about assigned spaces since they are simply trying to fit everyone in as best they can.The laundry facilities are small and a bit beat up, but there are plenty of services in the area to deal with almost any need. The staff is friendly as heck and the grounds are clean and fairly well maintained. LP is sold M-F from 8:30am to 4pm.Cell reception is good, and about a gazillion OTA channels (ok, about 80 usable channels).. Noise is a lot less than I expected with the occasional jerk running his loud muscle car, plus the irregular emergency vehicle passing nearby. Otherwise it's quite quiet and fairly dark at night as there is not a ton of external lighting. If you're close enough to the main building, you can pick up the WiFi signal. I have a USB powered external antenna and was able to get a usable signal, but their WiFi was being hit from every angle by other people desperate for bandwidth. Cox had opened up their system for the duration, and that wasn't bad for work needs.Site Quality is being dinged one star due to the tightness of spaces. In Pacifica, the sites are quite long so it's easy to park your vehicle in your space without worrying about your neighbor. Here, it's a dance of vehicles whenever someone pulls in or out of a space and no two ways about it. However, the road is plenty wide to allow parking big-rigs if you've got a bit of game. A sliding hitch for your 5th wheel might come in handy.Verizon is 3 bars, but there is an occasional glitch with streaming. However, it's not enough to do anything other than note that my Roku occasionally hiccups. AT&T is 2 bars and streaming live TV to my iPhone is flawless. Again, signal strength vs bandwidth; give me bandwidth. After several days here, it's apparent that everyone starts streaming their favorite cartoons around 10am and don't stop until around midnight. The cell system is completely overloaded and it becomes impossible to do remote work around noon. Luckily I'm working East Coast hours so I just start a couple hours earlier and can get everything done before the system locks up.They have a nice looking dog park on the grounds. The nearest one is just good, but not well used at the moment. Another nearby park, called Dog Fancier's Park is beyond amazing. They have four large fenced areas and a fifth one that could probably hold a high school stadium with some parking. I've never seen a bigger, more beautiful dog park. There are lots of people here, but the size makes it very easy to keep our distance from each other while the dogs romp. This park alone makes it a city to remember. If you're here outside of a pandemic or other natural disaster, I expect you'll find a lot of traffic, lots of people, and lots of good food and everything will be open. We got one day of that before it became a ghost town, but we're not into crowds so we only missed out on a bit of fun and interesting places to go. If we had to stay somewhere longer than planned due to some mandate, I would not complain loudly with being forced to stay here. There are lots of grocery stores and other services near and far and I'm sure Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon are great attractions, but they are currently closed down. Hoover is less than 40 minutes away and Hoover a bit over two hours. Unfortunately neither advertised their closings except to put up a sign and guards at the entrances. If you hear anyone complaining about this campground, simply smile and nod. They are likely TT haters and it's not worth the effort to argue with them.

You will have to pay for 50 amp service if you need that. No charges for receiving packages though. They do have propane for sale. Staff is very friendly. Pool is very nice as is the hot tub. Newly renovated rest room and shower. Sites are fairly level too. So, you decide what you want in a campground so close to all the action in Vegas. This certainly worked for me. You're in the city so had good cell service albeit would slow to a crawl at night on Verizon and not streamable at night. ATT was better and TMobile was okYou're in the city so you'll have the sounds of a city, ambulances, police, fire, racing vehicles and police helicopters. Outside these were more noticeable but inside I drowned them out with tv or music.

We had serious speed issues on Verizon even though signal was good. - It’s incredibly noisy. You’re under a flight path to the airport, there are helicopters and sirens at all hours. - There are no nice walks in the resort. You are staying inside of concrete walls with razor wire. And you don’t dare walk outside of the park. - There were some seriously rude and cranky guests. I mean folks shouting at each other (and us!) while they were trying to get parked. I’ve never seen so many rude RVers in one place.

We are part of the thousand trails membership program and this was our first time staying with them and we are thinking that we may regret our choices. First experience checking in took over an hour with reservations and was told I might not be able to park my truck on property due to space limitations (we had reservations FYI). Sights were super small so small in fact that our neighbors couldn't put their slides out on one side because they would have hit our Camper. Sewers don't seal or screw in and we had the smell of that for the duration of our stay. When we arrived there was stuff litter all over the place to include sewer elbows from past residents. I also had someone try to pry open one of my under cabin spaces while we were there thank goodness there was no actual theft or ruining of property. Also half the laundry equipment doesn't work so we had to wait to be able to do laundry for long periods of time. Lastly the trash was heaped up on the outside of the canisters and you could smell it throughout the campground. The trash company came one day and only took one canister left the other which was overflowing. I couldn't imagine this if it had been during the heat of summer there.

Those areas look nice now but they are small. For a park with so many spaces, the pool and activity center do not have a lot of room in them. It seems there are quite a few regulars who stay here and some of the rigs are not too well kept and may be taking up a lot of space. We were lucky to get in the 50 amp power area (first come first served for 30 or 50 amp power) so that was good and the site we were in was actually quite wide an deep enough. We did have a small problem that it was not a level site and was leaning back enough that we could never quite get level. The staff was VERY nice, drive around often, almost always at the 24/7 ranger station, and helped when we needed it. We saw them helping others quite a bit as well.Because we have the Thousand Trails membership this site was a good deal for us and we would stay again - but check in early to get a good site and be ready for some tight corners navigating the park.Oh, took us about 25-30 minutes to get to south end of the strip or Freemont Street while we were there.

Very tight spaces and we have a 22' trailer. Had to have 2 other renters help me back in as cars are parked in front of there RV's, leaving no space. All three restrooms had major problems at some point of our 4 day stay. With the amount of bookings, the owner surely would have a budget to renovate the restrooms.

GETTING SITUATED: The park is pretty small by Thousand Trails standards and is the tightest RV park we've ever stayed in. Cars are parked in all sorts of strange configurations because the spaces are not deep enough to accommodate a rig and truck. This makes getting backed in very interesting since you have to avoid all the obstacles, while trying to orient your rig into the space. We even had to ask our neighbors to move their truck when we left because they had to park partially in front of our rig. DOCKING STATIONS: The hook ups were all in decent working order.THE SCENE: The park is fine, although surrounded by cinder block walls topped by barbed wire, giving off a bit of a "prison" vibe. The park is in the city and surrounded by apartments, construction and typical city noises. Given that the outdoor activities in the nearby national and state parks are so good, we'd probably opt to boondock closer to those locations in the future rather than stay in the city. THE FACILITIES: Some previous reviews noted that the pool and lodge were under construction, but all were re-opened when we were there and looked new. The restrooms and laundry rooms were dated (normal at Thousand Trails), but not as clean as other Thousand Trail parks we've stayed.STUFF TO DO: Well, it is Vegas. There's not much around this park other than typical urban sprawl. You can get to The Strip in 10 minutes in an Uber or driving. We've been to The Strip plenty of times, so we skipped it this time, and decided to check out some other stuff outside the city - and we are very glad we did! About 45-60 minutes east is the Valley of Fire state park, which is beautiful and full of amazing geological formations and drives. Also to the east is Lake Mead National Recreation Area and Hoover Dam. We visited Hoover Dam on a previous visit and loved the tour. To the west is the Red Rock National Conservation Area - which you can get into with a National Park Pass. It has a stunning scenic drive and tons of easy to strenuous hikes. HIKE FACTOR: There's only urban hiking around this park and not too much worth urban hiking to. We did check out the Boulder Station Casino, which is walking distance. We're not gamblers or casino aficionados, so we'll not lay judgement on this off-the-strip location. In terms of real outdoorsy hiking, there's plenty of amazing parks in the area as noted above. GEEK FACTOR: We got service on all our networks, but T-Mobile was not fast enough for streaming, surprisingly, given that we normally expect decent speeds when we are in urban areas. We came here as a place to lay our heads after fun filled days/nights in Las Vegas. We don't use this park for its amenities. Staff was helpful in getting checked in and parked. Spaces are tight for larger rigs. 30 amp service at our site with full water and sewer. Walking distance to casinos and entertainment. Not necessarily a great park for families or kids. Dog runs were clean and were used regularly by campers pets. Each site had a picnic table as well. What I don't like is NO open fires. Bummer as we like sitting around our portable fire pit at night. All in all we will stay here again. No Wifi but we have both Verizon and T Mobil unlimited data and had 4-5 bars on each.

We thought being in a tourist destination TT would put their best foot forward, not. A tree fell on the recreation room about a year ago and they still haven't fixed it. The sites are very narrow and an intoxicated person must have painted the lines in relation to the utilities. It's also nothing more than a RV parking lot. The guy at the gate has an odd sense of humor but is a really good person. They accepted out mail as well. We were able to catch an Uber to the strip. Here's some of the campground in this video. https://youtu.be/PKaCXWXbMNE

But I can't say that I'd actually pay the fee to stay here. Not much to do except park in a gravel lot. The pool was unfortunately closed due to a downed tree. The bathrooms seemed to get cleaned at least twice a day but unfortunately the women's smelled like sewage, and the shower curtains should be changed. Maybe some air freshener could help. But nice long hot showers and great pressure. Laundry facilities small but worked. The sites are packed in like sardines but are level, clean. Everyone had to park in front of their rigs which makes you spill either onto the street or into your neighbor's space. The dog area was clean. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly, helpful, and even had treats for our dog. We walked to the nearby grocery store Smart & Final and felt safe during the day. It's off a busy road but I never noticed traffic noise. Their online pics show a playground but there wasn't one. We camped at Thousand Trails Nevada in a Fifth Wheel.

  • Great Experience! I would return here.

The prime rib dip sandwich in the Boulder Station Grand Cafe is yummy!Getting to the strip was easy I took the fwy right to the Las Vegas strip. I got off the fwy on Tropicana and parked at the Excalibur casino. Then we walked to New York-New York Casino for a Greenberg's Deli sandwich called the Italian Stallion ...its always excellent. The staff & campers have been friendly to us. Some campers offered to play Mexican train with us in the activities center but we had other commitments that evening. What a friendly bunch of campers here!I enjoyed The Great Grackles at the campsite along with our walks around the campground in the mornings or evenings.
