When you book your reservation, if your camper is over 35', lie and put down it is 42'. We have a 36' 5'r and we were put in a spot that was maybe 38' long. Ended up parking truck on street, squeezing it as close to camper as possible and had about 1' of the back of camper sticking out on road. There were numerous empty longer sites available, but for one night we made it work. There were no empty vehicle parking spots as it seems they like to pack the short sites first before filling the longer sites. -2 stars for this.2. Clean campground with pool/activities for kids. Staff was friendly and helpful (had to ask where I was suppose to park my truck and there was nowhere close to park it. Was told to just park on road in front of camper since we were overnight only. 3. Narrow sites, with our awning out we were about 6" from the next camper. Power box could use some maintenance, loose breakers that were about to fall apart when you flip them on (missing mounting screws).

I reserved their "Most popular site" which said on the website that it was 70' long. I was assigned my site based on the type I reserved or so I thought. After dropping the trailer and going to park the truck it was obvious that the site was no way 70'. My fifth wheel is 44' long with a 2' bike rack. Trying to park my truck, which is 8' wide, sideways I could not fit with out being on the street. Doing the math I can see this all doesn't add up to 70'. I should have had space to spare given the length and width of my vehicles.Going to the office I asked what type of spot I was given because I can see it's not the 70' site type I reserved and paid for. She told me, "Oh we have some 70' sites but what I was in wasn't". I said thanks and went back to verify what I booked and sure enough I booked the site as I expected and verified the website says "All sites are 70'".Returning to the office I showed the website description and again asked what type of site I was placed on. Another man in the office came over and said well all our sites are 70'. So I explained the situation on my site and reiterated the math just doesn't add up. He left and returned with the manager who insisted all the sites are 70'. We both walked over to the site I was on and I showed him how I was parked and why it is not possible this site is 70'.That was when he said that he personally has measured the sites and curb to curb they are 70'. I knew this was not going anywhere so I said thanks and he left. I then went in grabbed my tape measure and my wife and I measured the site curb to curb and it was barely 60'. Yes the manager lied to me face when he told me he personally measured all the sites and they are 70' curb to curb.So bottom line, when I checked in they gave me a little slip of paper which said when we review our stay if I can't answer 10 on a scale of 1 - 10 on anything I should tell them and they would do what they can to make it right.I gave them ample opportunity to make the inaccurate website description issue right, but instead they lied to me.We have been full time for over 8 years and stayed at many KOA camp grounds and generally when I book a KOA I do so because I know what I can expect. Never in all the time we have been camping has a manager lied to my face :(.

If we had, it would have felt very tight. You have to pull your vehicle in beside your trailer so not much "patio" space. Overall, it is laid out well. There are wide streets which help with maneuvering. Our site did have a slight slant towards the street. Easy to level. Careful with the water hookup. The valve when turned all the way to the right was not closed. It went past close to open again. Close was half way between full right and full left. The wi-fi was unreliable. It might be 5 bars, then drop to 1. It might connect and it might not. Our hotspot was better. The bathrooms, laundry room, and pool were all clean. Walmart across the street. It is next to a casino with a bowling alley and Dunkin Donuts! If your site is against two of the four walls, there will be street noise, but nothing excessive.

It is right next door to the Sam's Town Gambling Hall, if you like are into that. Downtown and the Strip are easy drives or Ubers from the Park. They have pull through, back in, and pull in sites.

Big pull thru sites which are ideal for us big rigs. Not the best area but it is Vegas! Heard sirens at night but never felt unsafe. Saw plenty of transients on nearby streets but the park is well lit and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and friendly and facilities seem to be in good order although we don't use them. We took a walk around the grounds. The casino is in walking distance and of course gambling if you enjoy it. The smell of cigarettes was awful as we walked by. Choose to spend our money at a great restaurant - Other Mama … outstanding and totally worth the drive across town. FHUs with 50 amp and good water pressure. Most sites have zero outdoor living space, no table and no grass. Interior roads are wide asphalt and sites are gravel/dirt. Our end site was great as there was grass for the pooch. Our site was level enough that we didn’t bother putting the jacks down for one night. Park WiFi did not work well for us.This isn’t a place I would stay long but it worked just fine for our overnight in Sin City! We'd stay here again.

The pool and hot tub were nice. The bathrooms were very clean. Staff was very nice as were our neighbors. It was overall a very pleasant experience, especially after spending a week at the thousand trails down the road. Att wasn’t great. TMobile was better. This KOA had openings and we were grateful. It’s basically a big parking lot right next to a not-on-strip casino. The host was super nice on the phone and it was in a safe part of town. We were at the back of the lot and had privacy but the WiFi was too weak, which is why I graded this a 3. We didn’t use restrooms but I appreciated they had a recycling bin; many don’t. If you need WiFi, ask the host to put you in a better location. We would use again under similar circumstances.

Called ahead of time to let them know I might be late. The woman that answered said that it wasn’t an issue and my information would be posted on a board and I could contact the night host. I pulled up to checkin 7 minutes after they closed and as they were locking up to leave for the night. They all could have easily just said, hey check the board and call the night host, but the general manager actually took the 10 minutes to get the information off the board, he checked my site number and even preemptively moved me to be closer to a more convenient site next closer the showers and facilities. The site itself was basic with full hookups. I was in a rented campervan and didnt require much. There is not too much shade throughout the park—I think that’s mentioned in some other reviews. There is minimal traffic noise from Boulder Highway and the entrance for Sam’s Town which is a casino next door. The price per night is budget friendly—although Sam’s Town took a little of my money. The Wifi was decent, facilities were clean. Overall good experience and impressed with the friendliness and excellent customer service!

Other than that the sites are level, it was quiet, and clean. I would stay here again.

The Denver KOA was no palace but it certainly set the bar higher than this KOA could ever reach. We had no intention of being in Vegas, but our truck's tire flew off while we were going 60MPH, pulling the trailer on our way to California. Long story short, we were stranded in Vegas with no where to go. The only positive about this KOA is they took me in very very last minute. It seems they always have spots open. Pros:- The dog park has some grass in it.- They had a spot last minute.- Good reception for Verizon & T-Mobile.- Walking distance to the scariest Walmart you will ever step into in your entire life.- They do have a RV wash & wax service. I paid 230$ for my 23' airstream to be washed and waxed. They cleaned everything decently, but didn't take the leaves out of my window shields, which would have taken 3 seconds. SO that sucked. - In comparison to other RV parks in the area that we passed by, it seems the safest. Cons:- Good god, everything.- Uber will never find you without calling you.- Saddest pool.- Little to no greenery. It's more like a parking lot with intermittent rocks.- NO SHADE. You will bake. - Intensely windy so that you cannot have your awning HOWEVER, your scary weird neighbors will still be sitting outside in lawn chairs, shirtless, drinking and gambling their regrets away. - The neighborhood is scary. One of our uber drivers told us not to walk around at night. Also, do not cross Boulder road as there have been many pedestrian deaths. Woot woot.- The dog park is tiny and the poop bag stand is located in an obscure location which you will never find when your dog is taking a poop. In summary, if you're in Vegas by accident, come park your rig here. If you're in Vegas on purpose, I can't help you.Side note: Sunrise Coffee is conveniently located next to the airport and is a nice place to be if you want to forget that you're in SinCity.

We've stayed at both the Circus Circus RV park and the Sam's Town KOA a couple of time, and I gotta say, the Sam's Town KOA has become our go to RV park when passing through Vegas. I felt much better walking around, using the pool, and leaving my RV at the Sam's Town KOA than I did at Circus Circus. Safety wins out over location any day.

We have an older trailer and a large dog which has limited our choice of parks in the area so we appreciate Sam's Town KOA for their hospitality. You're in a city so spots are tight and there is some noise but I believe this is the most quiet park you'll find in the area. There's also a Wal-Mart across the highway, which is convenient for restocking while in town. The casino next door is small but nice with restaurants, a bowling alley and a movie theater, it's a great place for the whole family. The casino also provides a free shuttle to the strip which we took advantage of. We did however miss the shuttle back to the campground and when we asked a cab driver to bring us the 10/15 minutes back to Sam's Town they said "$50, it's on the other side of town" uber was cheaper but be careful to not miss the bus!

I never felt unsafe although it isn't a great area. Lots of transients on nearby streets, but the park is well lit (not always something we want) and well maintained. The staff are very helpful and friendly and facilities seem to be in good order although we don't use them. The casino next door has several eateries with some reasonable prices (not all) and of course gambling if you enjoy it. Even the smoke-smell isn't too awful inside.FHUs with 50 amp and good water pressure. Most sites have zero outdoor living space, no table and no grass. Interior roads are wide asphalt and sites are gravel/dirt. No speed bumps - yaaaaaay! Site is level and the few trees don't block our satellite. Cable available as well. Park WiFi worked well for us.Far enough from downtown and the strip to avoid the chaos with decent access to the interstate. Some sirens and plane noise, but nothing that bothered us. We'd stay here again. The rate reflects a weekly stay and KOA membership plus tax.

Stay in the south part. We have a small trailer, 17 feet, and that made our spot in the south side nicer because we could be against the outer wall. It was quiet, even when we had to move to the north park because they were busy. The casino that's connected has loads of stuff. Good food, the steak house is excellent. There's a bowling alley and a movie theater and you can walk. The pools are clean. The showers are clean and well kept. The spots on the edges are large for an RV Park, but if you have a big rig and have to be in the middle they probably aren't as great for you. The South Park has lots of trees. The dog runs are kept up really nicely. We really enjoyed it here. Also our rate is low because we have a small rig.

They were chained to the towbar but due to the lack of security, no gates, no perimeter fence, direct access to the casino parking lot, in retrospect they were an easy mark for a thief. And based on the reaction of the very friendly front desk staff, this is far from an unusual occurrence. After more than a year and a half of full timing, boondocking in all kinds of remote locations, we get our bikes lifted at a KOA. Other than that, the park is pretty much as the review from The Traveling Haywoods described, pretty tight spots but well maintained. Based on our experience, I wouldn't leave anything outside your rig that is not securely attached. There is some noise from the highway and being near the airport means a pretty steady stream of noise from air traffic. We had 3 bars of Verizon LTE which worked great during the day but speeds slowed significantly in the evening. We have stayed in nicer locations while visiting Las Vegas for work. You can bet that we will be spending a little more $ next time for a RV Campground that provides peace of mind as well as a parking spot. We won't be coming back here.

If you are visiting during the summer, remember, it is hot..... very very very hot in Vegas. During the last 10 days of our most recent stay the was over 110 degrees every day. Your AC will turn on in the morning and will run continuously for the entire day, so make sure everything is in working order, and that you have a heavy duty power cable that is properly plugged in. I saw the maintenance guy replacing a number of service boxes due to electrical fire. Also, keep in mind that there are foreign travelers in rental rvs in and out by the dozens everyday. A lot of them are starting their trips in Vegas and are not accustomed to hooking up their rvs. Keep an eye out for people that may need some help, and check your utility box every time someone comes or goes (each utility box is shared between 2 sites). We found it useful to tape over and label the circuit breaker for our site so that is was very apparent which breaker to flip. This stemmed from a neighbor flipping off our breaker while hooking up and not turning it back on. Luckily we were there to turn it back on, or our dogs could have been toast.. literally. As for pets, during the summer heat, do not walk the dogs across this park, the asphalt, even the gravel parking pads will burn their feet. Ask for a spot that backs up to grass, or you will have to carry your pup over to it. Spot 219 offered a large area of grass, but no shade. Spot 240 offered a smaller grass area, and has SHADE from about 10:30am to 5pm that was a huge improvement from 219. It allowed us to keep the inside of the rig about 10 - 15 degrees cooler and also helped keep the freezer/fridge cooler as well. Its super easy to get around Vegas from this spot. You are a block from Flamingo which takes you by I-95 then into the heart of the strip. Take 95 south for 10 mins and you are in Henderson and almost half way to the Hoover Dam, 95 north for 5 mins and you are in old Vegas, 95 north to Summerlin Parkway and in 20 mins you are Summerlin and only a few more minutes from Red Rock Park. RV trouble, they have a few RV mechanics that will come on site, or drive a mile north on Boulder Hwy and see the guys at Findlay RV (they fixed us up quick).
