We chose this park because of it’s central location to everything. ????????????For videos on this campground and others, check out our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.

However, at the back of the park, we were up against a chain link fence that separated us from a sheet metal manufacturer. Trucks idled all night long. Other industrial noise began by 8 a.m. But particularly the trucks. Spaces are close together, so neighbor's porch light left on all night was irritating. (Come on, people!)The park is clean, safe, and centrally located. Also less expensive than the KOA. Did not use any facilities as we were out hiking all day. Wi-Fi spotty, but didn't expect otherwise. Check-in was friendly.

This was a very nice campground with mostly long term campers. We stayed here to visit White Sands National Park. Sites were large pull throughs with FH and easy to level on. It is a gated park and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would stay here again.

Park is very nice. Friendly and helpful office staff. Level sites, plenty of room between sites. The restrooms/showers were the cleanest I've seen in a long time. There are 4 individual complete bathrooms. Large grassy dog park.

Sunny Acres is at least one of the nicest RV parks in the area, and I really have nothing negative to say about it except only 2 out of 6 dryers were working in the laundry building and there were no restrictions on masks or number of users in the building at the same time. I stayed there through February 2021 and a number of people were pretty laissez faire about social distancing (and waiting their turn).

Enjoyed our stay here. Really nice people. Our spot was in the back and very quiet, clean, and level. Will certainly stay here again.

We're a FT travel family and had to make our way through New Mexico for one night on our way to Arizona. State parks are closed and private campgrounds are at 25% capacity so finding a spot was hard. The Camp Host was super nice. It seems like most spots are FT stationery. The campground is well kept, we got a pull through site, very level gravel spots, bathrooms are clean, nice sized laundry with lots of machines.

We meet the host Jeff right off the bat. He and his wife were great. Internet great and a lot of room. He invited my wife and I to play pickleball and gave us advice for things to see and do. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars because they don't have a pool.

What is important is the cleanliness of the site which was excellent. The bathroom are private unisex shower/toilet setups, but there were four rooms so there were always vacancies. They were clean and set up thoughtfully with a shelves and hooks to use when using the sink. There's also a dog park, book sharing room, and laundromat. We would definitely stay here again.

Somehow the road next to the old work shed is designated as a RV site, I can't recall the site number but it was a double letter. We wanted to stay a week here, but after seeing our site, we decided to only stay one day. The bathrooms were not good for us, and they had a problem with the water, so there were signs not to use the water, therefore no laundry etc. This looks to be a park for full timers, as you can see the sites were well decorated and the rv's did not look like they had moved for years. they did have a few spots for travelers. No real features to speak of. I don't think we'll be returning. Hope your experience will be better than ours.

We chose it because it's $10 less than the RV Park we stayed at last time. We found the sites at Sunny Acres to be slightly wider than typical "in town" RV parks, which was nice. Our pull-through (#2) was very wide and long and was great for our overnight stay. There are many long-term RVs here but the park and sites are clean and tidy. The free WiFi was too slow to be useful, AT&T had decent signal but was slow, while Verizon was fast. There's a fenced dog park but it's somewhat small for larger dogs like our Labrador Retriever. Apart from the campground we didn't see any other good places to for longer dog walks, so if we were staying more than one night we'd need to figure that out. The park is a few miles off I-10, so it's not the most convenient place for an overnight stay, but it worked for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. We'd consider staying here again.

They were very nice on the phone, had our reservation waiting for us, which was much appreciated. If you come in after hours, they also have instructions up for folks arriving. The laundry and bathroom facilities were fine - we were just parked a bit far away (so you know the wifi didn't work either) - and the weather wasn't great. They seem to cater to long term rv-ers. The office did have quarters for us to do laundry. It was nice and quiet. Not much around to walk to but it is in the middle of a commercial area.
