It is a small 29, mostly pull-thru sites for all types of rvs. There are clean shower rooms, a clean laundry room and a nice pool (closed right now). Mostly monthly RVers there now. Very quiet with friendly people. A homey place. There is a large club house with different activities in a comfortable setting, as well as an outdoor social gathering place to sit and visit. The owner, Mike, is very involved in the daily activities. The view of Elephant Butte lake is great! I had good cell service, but don't spend any time on the phone. I am visiting Aqua Vista in my class B motorhome. What I enjoy most is the homey atmosphere, the friendliness and the low rates.

The new owners, just a young couple, could not be sweeter. We have a 36’ Class A with a tow and we got the last spot on the end which is a double spot. Most spots are not $40, they are less. We had a lovely view of the Elephant Butte, the desert and the lake. The cacti was in bloom right in our lot, and you can hike all over the desert. And they have a really nice pool. The dark night sky here is awesome and it has to be the most quiet park we’ve been to. The cell service for Verizon is very good. The new owners have their work ahead for sure, but the basics are here. I have a feeling it will just get better and better. A good value for a peaceful place.

We were looking for an overnight stay. Price is right and access of I-25 easy. Unfortunately it’s not big rig friendly by any stretch. My 40’ MH and tow might have fit length wise but sites are narrow. No way I could fit in. Drive aisles narrow for getting in/out of site. Fine for smaller RV’s.
