Glenda is the owner and was super nice. She was very helpful and let us pick out the spot we wanted with a great view. This area is one of the prettiest in New Mexico.

Glenda, the owner, was super nice offering us any site we wished to stay in. We selected one of the 50 Amp back in sites. There are a few pull throughs but the park was wide open so we opted for a back in. There is a laundry on site that is on the honor system $3.00 for a wash and dry cycle. The park is very clean and well maintained. A ride on the Enchanted Circle drive is recommended, Visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, Taos, Angle Fire and Red River. The annual fishing tournament on the lake was going on when we were there and was told that the lake has great fishing. The WIFI at the park was great.
Very nice and quiet.

We love this little park. A good place to use as a base camp for exploring the area. The owner is a wonderful lady.
Gem of a park in the enchanted circle drive

Such a gem! We were driving in the area looking for a place to stay for a quick night. Our boondocking spot a few miles down the road didn't work out the way we wanted it to. There's two in the area that seemed to have cheaper rates – we picked this one and SO glad we did. It's located in the enchanted circle drive, on the same road...moreSuch a gem! We were driving in the area looking for a place to stay for a quick night. Our boondocking spot a few miles down the road didn't work out the way we wanted it to. There's two in the area that seemed to have cheaper rates – we picked this one and SO glad we did. It's located in the enchanted circle drive, on the same road to Eagle Nest State Park. The owner, Glenda, is one of the nicest ladies we've met and lives right on site. When we pulled up, she offered us any site we wanted and to stay for however long we want. She was so welcoming and funny. We decided to stay a few nights. We visited in the off season (later September) so it was pretty empty minus the few staying there full-time. She mentioned it's quite busy in summer and I can imagine with the cheap rates and close proximity to the lake for fishing (and can also see how tight the park could be if filled)The landscape, sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking as they usually are in that area. Wi-Fi and Verizon service was good. No bathrooms.
