Very nice people that check us in. But loud as hell. Cars all night long cause it sits in the middle of town. RV’s running there heaters all night long all around us.

We choose RV parks based off internet speed because we work on the road... more and more people are like us because of the pandemic... even some shabby back woods parks we stayed at had better internet then here.Message to the owners: get faster and more reliable internet.... other then that, this one one of the nicer RV parks we have stayed at so far :)

  • Good central location in Clovis area. Few amenities. No issues.

In Clovis to visit the Blackwater Draw Arch. site and museum (closed due to CoVid-19) and Oasis State Park (closed to camping but open for birding and fishing.) I agree with OnTheGoAgain's 2016 assessment. We did not use the showers, laundry, etc.Pros: On the quiet side of town, so no highway or rail traffic noise. Easy access from 4-lane street. Smooth check-in by knowledgeable staff. Plenty of room to maneuver so getting into the very level back-in slots is easy. A gate at the East end of the park opens onto Goodwin Lake Trail, a 1-1/2 mile loop around a "playa" that makes a nice stroll.Cons: Sites are pretty Spartan: see pics of our #47 that lacked a table, but came with its own trash pile. No access control, so anyone who wants to can drive in and look around.

It was more like we were parked on the edge of a driveway. Our door opened up to the driveway. No tables. No shade. That particular spot seemed more of an afterthought. But many other spots which seem to be used by long stays, have shade trees, space and are spacious.
