This is a very comfortable, older RV park. When we arrived, Scott, the owner, met us and walked around to show us the available spots. We choose one with a large tree and a small "back yard" surrounded with a fence and trumpet vine in glorious bloom. The electricity is great, water pressure is good, the only issue is the sewer pipe is at the back of the lot. Our hose won't reach so we are filling tank and will run by one of the many dumps in the area. If you have an extra long hose, no problem. A lot of trains pass through town, if train whistles bother you, don't stay in Clovis. We love them. There is no traffic noise in the park. Clovis is a great bike town with wide, flat streets and not much traffic on the side streets. Akers itself is just a great place to camp while you are passing through or spending a few days in town.Enter from Johnson Street no matter what the "Google Girl" says.The standard fee is $30.00/night.
