I want to give this campground a high rating but it’s difficult. After all, they did give me a decent place to rest for the night. Thankfully I brought my own bed. The motel itself looks anything but inviting. The campground is small, under 25 camping spots. It proudly advertises ‘full hook ups’ but that’s probably going to disappoint a lot of campers. There is 30 amp service at all the campsites but no 110 or 50 Amp plug-in options. There is water but no cable tv. There are zero air tv stations either. Both of my gravel sites were level and fairly close to the adjacent campers. I moved from my first site, #15, as it was under a tree with some dead branches and the wind was really blowing. I did not want to invite damage to my roof. It would have been very quiet in the campground if it were not adjacent to a highway and a busy railroad track. The trains loudly announce there arrival and are very long in passing through town. I would stay here again if I am just passing through the area as I am now. Otherwise I’d look for a more remote place to stay.
