This place is very simple. But great restrooms and showers. Also the staff was super helpful. I’d stay here again. Great access to Carlsbad cavern.

We stopped for an overnight and it was good. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest I’ve seen in a campground!

We stayed at Bud's for a quick stopover, for which it was fine. We had a standard classic site which was a back-in gravel spot with full hook-ups. They had mostly pull through sites for bigger rigs. Big boy spots included a shared patch of grass on one side with a very close spot on the other side for another camper. Facility included a fishing pond, horseshoe pits, and swings for the kids.

Got in late. Site was ready for us, but neighbor had hooked up to our water/power. No big deal since we hooked up to theirs. Used showers in the morning then left for carlsbad caverns. Was good for an overnight stay.

  • Nice staff but very noisy campground and buddy sites

The lady who checked us in was so nice and friendly. The park itself was clean and a good location. There are some full timers there who do not clean up there sites. People get up at 430/5am to go to work and there trucks were very loud. There are also very loud cars in the area driving around until midnight. We did not get much sleep here. Also the sites are buddy sites so our neighbor was crazy close to our rv.

We came in late and ran into the camp host who was great, full of information. The campground is clean and well kept, bathrooms are spotless, laundry facility was very clean. We really liked that each of the sites has full hook-ups including clean out. If we are in the area again we will definitely be staying here.

  • Spaces are wide and have grass 'yards'

Gravel parking spaces, but nice grass in between sites. Each site has a picnic table, some have trees, and the whole park is fenced. There is a fenced pond with ducks! There is no designated dog park, but there was an area that we walked our dog and no one seemed to mind. Typically this park is full of oil field workers, but with the downturn in the economy, there were plenty of spaces this time. There is a bathhouse, and laundry facility, although we did not use either one.
