The tiny town of Capitan was cute and a good dog walk. The park was ok but I was placed in an open area right at the entrance; it was full hookups but just a strange location. I was worried that I would get hit by an entering vehicle my entire stay.It was quiet and peaceful even though I was right in front of the street. There was a bathroom trailer that was clean enough to use. No other amenities. The elevation is about 6,400'.

Small park. Some long term and maybe 10 or so open spots. Owner was very welcoming. Capitan is a really cute town. There are a couple restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance and a laundry mat next door. Really enjoyed the cool mountain air in July. Great place after a long days drive. FYI...was cash only. I would call to double check on that.
