Okay campground. Nothing special. We had a pull through and we were able to keep our car attached which was nice. Take time to visit the Aztec monument. It is an easy half-mile walk down the road and totally worth it.

The town has pretty much anything you need and several other things to explore. I totally get why there are some full time snowbird type mixed into this park.

When I pulled in she showed me all my hookups and gave me info on Chaco Canyon and the Aztec ruins which is so close you can almost see your RV from the visitors center. Very cool place to visit. I opted to stay here as I didn’t want to take my rig into Chaco. I’m glad I didn’t as the road into Chaco was pretty bad. Driveable in a vehicle but wouldn’t recommend towing anything in. The WiFi was fast but seemed to get spotty in the afternoon. This park is right next to the river that you can walk down and check out. It’s about and hour and a half to Chaco, hour and a half to Bisti and 15 minutes from Farmington which were all places I frequented while I stayed here. This spot worked perfect for all the things I came to see. Would recommend this park and would stay again.

This simple family owned RV Park fit the bill. The best part of the RV park is its location. Away from the main road, bordering a quiet river, and within a short walk to Aztec National Monument. Still a long drive to Chaco Canyon, but from what I could see, there are no closer decent camping options to that park, except within the park but I'd not recommend as the dirt road in will strain your RV. Check in was easy, but be aware cash or checks only, no credit cards. Surprisingly the Wifi signal was powerful and fast. The park itself is rather plain. Primarily a large gravel lot interspersed with trees and hookups. The host pointed us to an area and said we can park next to a hookup. There are no bathrooms, showers, or laundry facilities. However the host pointed us to a large modern laundromat just a short drive down the road. Another plus is a nice Safeway grocery store was just around the corner nearby as well. While many of sites appeared to occupied by long term residents, the few I met and spoke with appeared to be retirees or guys who worked in construction type jobs. No trouble makers at all. Overall I recommend this park to anyone wanting to visit and explore the local area for a few days.

It's a low-end RV park, but it has the basics, and the price is right. And it's within walking distance of Aztec Ruins National Monument, a fascinating world heritage site.If you're in a tent or a small RV (and don't require hookups), there are sites down by the river here for $10.
