First, the good. Its a great location, close to Avalon and Cape May - and the pond on the property is great! Staff was great at check-in but then there didn't seem to be any around the sites at all. The Honey Wagon driver was great and they pumped out quickly. The bad... starting with the roads, which were awful. Huge pot holes everywhere, and super dusty. The bathhouses were disgusting - by Sunday, 5 of the 6 toilets were unusable. Like many other Thousand Trails, a majority of sites don't have sewer hookups so it did impact us (we don't use the bathhouses at all.) But worst was there did not seem to be enforcement of any rules. Quiet hours were non-existent. 3 competing parties on Saturday kept turning up the music and there were fireworks around 2am (this was not the weekend of the 4th...).
Large campground, shaded and sandy, rough roads, no sewer

Almost 500 spots in this shady campground, many annual and permanent residents but lots of regular visitors dispersed throughout. Roads are horrible, some potholes so large I had to backup and take my little Chevy another route. Lots of streets, ocean themed like Ocean, Wave, Reef, Seaweed, etc, that makes it easy to find your location. Most spots have only water and electric, no sewer, however there is a free honey wagon service that comes M,W and F; just ask for it at the store.Site sizes vary, so does the noise level. Try to drive around and find your spot among the available ones, I wish I had looked a little further to the back of the property, spots there have sewer and seem to be quieter.Pool is nice, laundry runs on credit card only, both are at the very front of the campground with parking by each. There is a little lake in the very back of the property with full sun and chairs provided. I chose this location to be close to Cape May, it's about 15 miles north but the drive along Route 9 is easy. Lots of stores within 5 miles, CVS, Ace Hardware, Big Lots!, etc. Grocery Stores a little farther.Office will accept packages without charge.
