Arrived with no issues after a steep hill climb to the campground (CG) area. We were informed via email prior to arrival to pick up our welcome information and site number outside the office. We then drove the easy to navigate roads to our site, which was an older back-in site, but we had reserved a pull through. We got hold of the manager who was fixing a water line and were moved to the pull through site 28 with FHUs that we should have been in. The site was plenty long enough for our 39’ fifth wheel and was level enough that our auto level worked fine. We enjoyed walking around the park, which has farm animals in different pens. We also saw deer wondering around the park as well. There was a nice sized off leash dog park and a walking trail down a hill to the lake. The CG was a mixture of full time, seasonal, and short termers and was well maintained. We got one solid bar each on Verizon and AT&T. WiFi was good but the CG was not very crowded. Fire wood and propane were available and their laundry room was open. We enjoyed our over night stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

  • Was a great family owned campground

Over the past 6 years I’ve spent roughly 45-50 nights there. It is an amazing location and the scenery it the best in NJ. The sites are mostly full hook ups. And most are decently sized. Farm animals and new playground. Recently they were bought out and they changed the dynamic that I loved there. Took away a lot of the extras that made it so great. Weekly animal petting, breakfasts, gas savers, etc. Now this in now way affects how it is run. They still have a good team in place. But they have to listen to what corporate says as They are the boss now. Sadly I have not been back since the full switch over. And that sucks. My daughter really liked it. On paper , if you were to go there now and see it for the first time you would think it is a great campground. But to many of us past guests the changes are hard to swallow. My hopes areThey bring back many of the things that both seasonals/transients enjoyed but I fear that may not happen.
