We passed it on the way out west. Saw a little stick in the mud sign when we were parking at a Cracker Barrel up the block on the way home. Clean park. Power a little wonky. My system told me 100-110 volts in the mid day (everyone using AC). Little store across street. 4 lane road but a cross walk there with blinking lights.

  • Nice, convenient RV park right off I-80

We got reservations by calling and the lady we talked to was very nice, answered all our questions. We got there after hours so we drove straight to our site and our paper work was there on the electric box. Site was level both ways, which was nice, and our trailer fit perfectly so that we had a nice pad to step out onto. Bathrooms and showers were closed due to COVID-19. There is a convenience store right across from the entrance to get in so easy walk to get ice. Several fast food restaurants down the road and a couple of sit down restaurants too. Only complaints...internet was down off and on during our stay and the noise from the interstate is quite loud at night but we were there for a family emergency so were dog tired at the end of the day and it didn’t bother us after the first night.

The manager of the park was responsive and knowledgeable. I knew I would be checking in after the office as closed and paid over the phone. The manager had a great information packet waiting for me at the site with suggested POI, restaurants, etc. It was a very nice touch. The pull through had a picnic table, cement pad, easy pull in/out. No bathhouse or restrooms.

We stayed just one night trying to stay ahead of the snow. The bathrooms were clean and the showers hot and refreshing.

Suggest using Exit #128, it is a more direct exit and avoids roundabouts. The staff in this campground are a great reflection on this park. The office closes earlier than some campgrounds, but they provide an after-hours phone contact number. With our truck, 5th wheel and jeep, we prefer the longest site possible. This was a last minute stop for us, so we were thrilled they had such a large site available. This park seems to have a large number of permanent residents. It is a mobile home park with a large RV section, nice units. It felt very clean and well kept. It is very obvious that the new managers are very interested in improving this park. This park easily handles big rigs. Our site had a large concrete area for the RV, truck and jeep. Additionally, each site has a grass area. Asphalt, well maintained roads through the campground. Sites are all very level. Each site had a picnic table. Site was 50amp with good water pressure. Must be self-contained RV to stay here, they do not have showers or bathhouse. We do not use park facilities, so we did not care—but it was very nice that she mentioned it when I made the reservation. Good Verizon coverage. It was very easy to get DirecTV satellite. Bottom-line for me on this park… it is underrated. Staff takes ownership on the park condition and improvements. Sites are good size and it is easy to move throughout the park. We would definitely stay here again.Park is about 1 mile from quite a few restaurants and stores.
