Plans were for one night but stayed longer due to bad weather where we were heading. Campground has nice shade, several pavilions for gatherings. Everything was clean. Games for kids. Propane available. Easy access for newbies with no experience towing. Grounds clean and well kept. Laundry too expensive at $4/load. Later learned state parks $1.50 a load. Would stay again to do sight seeing in area or passing thru
Over priced, unaccommodating

Mgt seems very stingy and uninviting. I have much better experiences at all of the other camp grounds around here.

The pull thru sites have been widened and are more accommodating for larger RVs. They are working on adding a few more pull thru sites as well. The sites are gravel and mostly level. All sites are FHU. There are 4 rustic cabins available, and the bathhouses are reserved currently for those guests only due to COVID. The laundry room is only open Fri-Sun. There are no fire rings on the sites, but you can rent a fire pit with a screen. There are also community fire pits for everyone to enjoy. There is a playground, hammock hut, and game area for the kids to stay entertained. The owners, managers, and staff are all great and you can see the hard work they are putting in to continue to upgrade this campground.James K. Polk home in Columbia. Easy access to I-65. Dowtown Nashville only 40 miles north.

Pros... the grounds were charming and we had full hook ups. Cons... gravel park pad was uneven, bathhouse was ONLY for cabin renters and price was quoted at 39.99 but with the $2 reservation fee, $2 hotel tax and $3.90 tax ended up at $47.89.

Apparently was an old KOA that closed and new owners have made many improvements, drives around and checks campground. Is a neat place for kids and even adults. Have buildings with board games, table games, gazebo, fire rings with chairs, picnic tables. Our site newly renovated and had new grass and straw between sites. 37-42 closer than some others but had more shade and new water and electric.only 1/2 mile from I-65.

Was very convenient. We were able to snag one of the last spots and it ended up being a 30amp site instead of a 50. BUT the site was fantastic! Super wide (it used to be 2 separate sites so you can imagine out wide it was) which was awesome because we have a 2nd vehicle. Hook-ups were great - had no issues. Cell signal was pretty good. Verizon: 8 down / 2 upAT&T: 15 down / 1 upI didn't try their wifi. We were able to stream and use the internet with our hotspots. Park is full of trees and grass lawns that are taken care of. They have a cool hammock hut that we were right across from which was awesome. Restrooms were closed because of COVID so I can't report on them. We liked this park and will definitely stay again.

Small sites but friendly campground only stayed one night but definitely would stay again close to interstate 65. Perfect for an overnight. Cell service not the greatest. But Wi-Fi worked well
