Thought I was going to state park but no dogs allowed. Boondocked one night. No power or water in the meadow sites. There is a bathroom and quarter operated shower and laundry. If you bring dogs have rabies tags or certificate current. There’s a chronologically challenged rooster but once the sun went down he stopped
A quiet hidden gem

We were stuck in NH and needed a place for one night while passing through. We found Tamworth Camping Area through Passport America. They were very accommodating. We were lucky enough to find this hidden gem of a campground in eastern NH. The site we stayed in had full hookups and was very well manicured. They have several full hookup sites that can accommodate large rigs, however, their other sites are smaller and would be great for tent campers or small rigs under 25 ft. The campground has a small swimming area on the river, along with several other river access areas, perfect for swimming or fishing. They have a cute petting zoo with several animals and sell feed in the store. The bathrooms are clean, although the showers are quarter-operated. The office staff was incredibly friendly. There are very affordable laundry facilities on-site, as well. Finally, AT&T and Verizon connectivity were very strong. Verizon had 20+mbps download speeds. We noticed that there was some construction underway, so we look forward to seeing their upgrades on our next visit.
