We stayed just one night at this CG since we were passing through to another destination. We would not stay here again. Swanzey Lake and the surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. We did enjoy sitting out by the lake in the late afternoon. The CG itself is CREEPY: 90% of the CG has long-term/permanent rigs with nobody at any of the rigs. There is lots of lawn furniture and other junk strewn around at many of the sites; it looked just plain junky. Some of the rigs on the permanent sites were literally falling apart. We saw rigs that were so old and dilapidated, they should be removed. There were very few short-term/overnight campers staying here. We would not recommend this CG for big rigs as the roads through the CG are narrow and twisty. We did not use the showers but did check out the bathhouse; the facilities were generally clean. Interesting: the bathhouse was across the road from the CG, which would be really inconvenient if you needed to use the facilities. The positives were that the staff was kind, the CG was quiet and close to Keene, NH.
