Nice view of the mountains from the park. A casino and restaurant are right next door. There are grassy areas in the park (but they do not allow dogs on the grass). I used the laundry room which was neat and clean, but the machines seemed a bit old and worn out. The first washing machine I used did not drain completely, so I used a different machine to run the load through another cycle. The dryer was great, but someone else who was doing laundry said his machine never warmed up. A loud vehicle in the park woke us up around 6:30. Another reviewer said some of the folks who live there get up early to go to work, so I’m assuming that was what we heard. Overall, very nice park. We will definitely be staying here again.

Easy access from I-80, the sites are level, widely spaced and our pull-through was on concrete. I think the back-ins are gravel. The bathrooms were spotless and had nice big shower stalls. Friendly staff. There are a lot of park models but they are all well kept. The only issue we had was noise - a lot of the residents must work at the mines and they all seem to drive very LOUD trucks and you can't miss when they drive in or out of the park. Not a big deal in the day, but at 2:30AM or 4AM or whenever their shift starts, it is pretty noticeable. Maybe recommend a space further away from the office building if you want to get less resident traffic at all hours, but you are further away from the showers/laundry.

When I called a lady answered the phone but said her name so quickly, I didn’t catch it. When I explained that my wife was ill and I had to cancel my reservations the lady stated, “There’s a lot of that going around lately”. Excuse me, did I really hear what I’d heard. Was she being snide? She then asked about our friends, another couple that had reservations for the same days. She then said our friend had already called and cancelled. She then added “Yeah, I think he said his wife had cancer”. What the hell now I’m being insulted? Cancer isn’t anything to joke about. I have no idea who the lady was, but I will never ever make a reservation with New Frontier RV park and I hope you won’t either.

A very clean Good Sam park. Long term residents seem to be away from travelers. Bathrooms and showers are amazingly clean. The pull through spots are asphalt and the back in spots gravel. Good space between neighbors (especially the pull through spots). Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the spot! It was clean, level, and the staff were all very friendly. We needed some work done on our jacks and we couldn’t find a mobile RV repair place in Winnemucca and the owner sent over Olivera to help us. He did a fantastic job and we are super thankful! We would definitely stay here again.

This place was built in 2013 and its very apparent they do great maintenance. Very clean park and well designed and set-up. Loved the large showers with a bench and lots of hooks. Would like a pool/jacuzzi but it's only 1 night and our personal preference. Showers made up for it.

Booked for an overnite, but had to stay 3 days to get some repairs done on the Moto Casita (engine coolant leak). FYI Dave Sherrill does great repair work in Winnemucca, very helpful. The park has a lot of extended stay folks from people working at the mines, but ownership appears to be very diligent in maintaining good behavior and accepting only rigs in good condition. Everyone was very friendly, staff and guests alike. Overnite sites are grouped in separate area. Minor noise from Interstate and trains, but not at all bothersome. Great cell reception, we were able to work while waiting on repair shop. Nice mountain views.

Very new looking, well laid out park with huge sites. The full hookups are intelligently place for easy access. The bathrooms/showers are really nice and spotless!! The site number, door and WiFi codes were sent by email for my after-hours arrival. (Instead of stuck in an envelope where anyone can “steal” the codes) This is both convenient and safe AND doesn’t waste paper. Located next to a Wingers Restaurant... bonus. I haven’t met they staff yet, but will say hi before departing. BTW we have travelled to 27 states and hundreds of parks. This is one of the best. We’ll be back!

We only stay one night, but have always valued the clean restrooms and showers, as well as spotless sites and hookups.Don’t be put off by lots of semi-permanent rv setups with insulated skirts and large propane tanks. This park satisfies the housing needs of the booming mining industry in the Winnemucca area. We’ve never been concerned about security. Our back in site was spacious and felt relatively secluded. Every employee was just great, from the lady on the phone when reserving a site to those checking us in. One thing that could have been an issue was the sewer hookup. We use a top of the line hose whose attachment securely screws into a variety of size receptacles. It wasn’t big enough to be securely attached. I happened to have an adapter that I needed about 7 years ago with me. It worked. Also, with my hose, waste water enters the park receptacle at a right angle. You can tighten the fitting by turning the attached handle. Few years back I ran into a park that put the power box so close to the sewer orifice that I couldn’t spin the handle. Had to cut it off. Needed that modified piece again at NFRV. Just something to be prepared for when visiting this highly recommended park.

There’s a lot of asphalt but there are some small trees. It’s a big park so they must be expecting a whole bunch of RVers for something. It is surrounded by small ugly manufactured homes, bunk houses (man camps?), etc, somewhat lacking in ambiance.

Each site has a new metal picnic table and plenty of space to park your vehicle as well as set up chairs, etc. This park seems to be very new in an area of the town that is going to be "master planned" so they are getting a good start. There are some cabins that can be rented and quite a few RV sites. They have wifi that works so-so and in the office area where there is seating and a TV, there is another wifi connection that is much better. The staff was very nice and helpful as well, getting us all set up and even chatting with our kids when they wanted to talk.A good sized dog park is here as well and it is all gravel. There are some BBQs and horseshoes areas as well.Walking distance to a small casino and a restaurant. We did not go to those places so I cannot say if they are good, but seem to be just as new as the park.I really wanted to give this park 5 stars but the lack of activities for kids is unfortunate. It is down the street from 2 other parks that have pools and playgrounds and for the amount of space they have here, just having a playground would have been a good touch when people come through with kids. It seems to be a lot of in and out people since this is on the road from Sacramento/Reno up to Yellowstone area (we saw many people check in just for 1 night) but that should not stop them from putting in some playground stuff.Overall - amazing place, 2 nights with Passport America and then we used Good Sam for a 3rd night discount. Hubbie reports utility hook-up went smooth. Staff is friendly and organized. This is a newer park, well-kept and well designed. Nice landscaping that will be great when mature. Sites have plenty of space from neighbor RV and picnic table. Each site has room for parking toad on the site, no hanging in the street. Each site has two trees, placed to give shade but not in way of slides or awnings.Quiet yet convenient to area. Beautiful mountains views from all sites. Quail spotted as we left this morning.Did not use laundry or shower facilities. Restaurant adjacent is casual and food is good. Not to gush too much, but I wish more parks were laid out like this one. One of the nicest parks we have stayed at in a long time.

The spots are somewhat close but have enough space to have a picnic table and ample parking. The spots are a bit sloped, but easy enough with our leveling blocks. The park was nearly empty so we had no one around us. Check in was a breeze and the guy was very nice. My husband always checks out the showers and after awhile I started to get worried. He came back and was like, "those were awesome." There is a bar and casino at the entrance and it's a quick drive to town where there are more casinos and restaurants. We were definitely happy with our stay and would stay here again overnight or for longer if we needed.

They also have what they call "the Village" which is for workers who have come to the area for temporarily contracts. The campground part of the park has 137 sites. Most are back-ins with 15 very long pull thrus. Our rate is Passport America which is only for back-ins. The park is gravel that has been swept away for the RV and car parking. Sites are long enough with a place beside for the tow. Every back-in site in on a slant. Not sure why they built them all with slope but if you back up way to end you are level. The park has a beautiful community room and spa style showers. Each site has a picnic table. When registering, ask to not be placed next to someone. The park was almost empty while there but they placed five of us right next to each other. The park is surrounded by beautiful mountains and has a small casino right near the entrance with a restaurant. There is free WiFi which was pretty good but the park wasn't very crowded.
