We don’t have kids, and I didn’t see any while we were camped.). This is a pretty typical commercial style CG with large level pull-thru sites and easy to reach utilities that worked well during our stay. The sites are spaced pretty normally for a commercial CG, so while there was little privacy, the angled sites helped a bit. They offer online booking, but I made our reservations over the phone in order to use our Good Sam ($45 a night). The park was quiet (I was a little concerned when I saw train tracks, but we never heard one), a good location for getting into town without staying in it, and there was space for walking our dog. Our Verizon was a bit slow, but their WiFi was pretty good. The affiliated gas station offered reasonable (to the market prices), and they do sell propane. If passing through the area, we’d stay here again.

Easily fits the biggest of rigs. All sites have nice grass areas and some had huge grass sections. Well manicured property with good spacing between neighbors. The only negative is that it is very close to the freeway and you will hear traffic, especially when semis go slightly off the road and hit the rumble strips. I recommend having some white noise to avoid this annoyance. Minus that issue, we really enjoyed our stay.

We just needed a place to stay near Reno and Tahoe so we could visit family. Great wifi! Grounds were kept very clean. The management was very helpful. They have 2 designated areas to walk your dog, otherwise, they aren't allowed on the grass (what little there was). Even though RV's were aligned in rows, there was a decent amount of space in between. The grass outside the front door was nice and there was a built-in concrete round table. The park is elevated above the freeway so we didn't notice the noise, and there was a nice view of foothills in the area.

We received a call back from Penny stating that we would not be allowed to stay specifically because the owners do not allow kids. This is not a registered 55+ park, they do monthly and long term rentals but openly discriminate contrary to the 1988 fair housing act.

It is a beautiful park quiet cost is good. So it’s ok a guess but even older kids are not wanting or welcome here I have been told by people staying here they have seen kids here too. We have a 2016 Class A it’s not like we have a old broken down motor home and my kids are 16 and 12 and almost never leave the RV. I told them this too. So again if you have kids don’t bother even if you are just staying over night or a week they really didn’t want you there at all they hate kids and you for have them it is a complication they didn’t want around their park so in my thoughts don’t give them your money.

We stayed here once in March and now once in July. The laundry room is clean, they have a nice dog run area, there are lovely grassed areas for each rig, and the restaurant in the casino is decent. The WiFi was good and the cable TV too.It is not someplace I would stay for any length of time, but it is great for a stopover.

We were pleasantly surprised to discover this park after a change of plans put us in Reno and so glad in retrospect we parked here on the outskirts of Reno instead of trying to drive our rig through the city. When you pull off the highway the area seems a bit rundown and barren but when you pull into the park you are struck by the green of the sites and well-kept facilities that create a peaceful setting. The park had all the necessary amenities for recharging- good quality hook-ups, strong cell and wi-fi signal and a clean laundry area. The management we encountered was also friendly and accommodating. Dog's Perspective: the well-maintained grass by each site was a great place for Denali to relax. It was also nice that there was a separate dog run but it could be improved with grass instead of sand.Runner's Rave: the best options for runs were along roads that either paralleled the highway or the lake. In either case, you'll need to stay alert for traffic- but if you're lucky, you'll also see some beautiful sunsets in the evening.Downsides: the biggest downside was the price which was high to us after enjoying Oregon's State Parks complete with hook-ups. There is also not a lot to see in the immediate area (we're not gamblers so don't have a perspective on how good the on-site casino is.)If you're wanting to spend time in Reno and have a relaxing place to park your RV, we'd recommend staying at Bordertown!

Looked clean, offered RV club member discounts and was far enough off the road to offer some quiet. However, the poor management experience doesn't outweigh the positives. The gentleman managing the place was welcoming and courteous but refused us accommodation; despite us holding a reservation because the owner doesn't like anything less than new units. We asked to speak with the owner who then told us that he is not in the hospitality industry, and that he has the right to refuse service. Visited October 2016.
