spent 15 days dry camping out in Tecopa. then visit this campground for 3 days. rinse repeat for 3 months. great staff, great park. excellent at storing my packages when they arrived early. just wish I could fit my trailer into their rv wash station or they allowed 'at site' washing. but truly a 'resort' park.

From our check-in with a bit of a mix-up (self-inflicted) with the reservation dates, the staff was more than accommodating and set us up with a wonderful pull-thru spot with full hook ups, in the last row facing east. What a spectacular view. Plus we had nice neighbors all around. Do wish the RV wash had been working. We planned to hit it on our way out. That would have been a "cherry on top" to a delightful stay. The OTA TV reception was pretty good. The utility layout was nice and the gravel pads were fairly level. Cell coverage was good for both AT&T and Verizon. We had several great "home-cooked" meals at Mom's Diner just 4 miles up NV-160. Definitely a stop to make. We also had very good Mexican food at Romero's, a stone's throw from Mom's.While it was a bit chilly during our stay, we didn't get an opportunity to check out the pools or hot tub, they did look well maintained and nicely appointed. We definitely look forward to staying here again for a short getaway, Highly recommended.

Spacious sites. Super staff. All kinds of amenities and activities. Row 900 has the best sunrises and sunsets. Right next to a winery/restaurant. Excellent food. An hour from Vegas and Death Valley. Would absolutely go again.

The main draw of this campground - besides being located about an hour from Death Valley National Park and Las Vegas - are the on-side activities and amenities. The main building houses the office, a small store, and a large clubhouse where they hold events like karaoke, poker tournaments, and wine tastings. Outside the clubhouse is the recreation area, with 2 swimming pools, a hot tub, a communal fire pit, a large outdoor grill and bar area, a ping-pong table, and two pickleball courts. They also have a self-service, open-area car/RV wash area with normal car wash tools (pressure washer, soap wand, etc.). On Tuesday evenings a food truck serving Mexican and American fast food parks near the wash area. There is also a good-sized dog park with 5-foot fencing in the back left corner of the campground which gave our dogs a chance to let loose a bit. The walls of the park have solar-powered motion sensing lights that made it easy to use the park at night. The back and right sides of the campground are open to a public desert landscape, so we could also walk our dogs (on leash) out there, either along the two cairn-marked trails or just freestyle.Pahrump has mountain ranges to the east and to the west, so we enjoyed a number of lovely sunrises and sunsets during our stay (we were in the last row on the right side of the campground, so we could watch the shadows cast by the setting sun creep up the slopes of the mountains to the east from our camper). In terms of cell service, the best speeds I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay was around 20Mbps down and 15Mbps up, which was enough to stream TV with an occasional stutter. The one speed test I performed on my AT&T phone showed 28Mbps down and 8Mbps up. So if you need a basecamp for visiting the area that also has campground leisure activities, this is a good choice.

Patrick at the front desk was great. He gave us three different sites to choose from and made sure to tell us everything the resort has to offer. There are two pools, a hot tub, laundry facilities, 8 individual bathrooms with showers, pickle ball, horse shoes, a club room with pool table and shuffle board, breakfasts most mornings, nightly activities including poker and bingo, a car/RV wash station and full hookups. The club room also has books, board games, puzzles and movies that you can borrow. The sites are easy enough to get into but there isn't really any privacy -- there are some trees and bushes here and there, but that's about it. The most private sites would be in the 900 row where you have mountain views out the back instead of another row of RVs. The 900 row is also all pull throughs. They also have cottages onsite that can be rented which came in handy when we had visitors at two separate times. They're very good about receiving mail and packages on your behalf. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Most of the people that stay here are snowbirds down from Canada, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, etc. The resort is right next to the Pahrump Winery and their restaurant, Symphony, which is the best restaurant in town, according to the locals. It's about an hour to Vegas and an hour to Death Valley. Other places of interest in the area are Red Rock Canyon, Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge, China Ranch Date Farm & Bakery and Dumont Dunes OHV, but expect to drive about 45 minutes. There isn't much to do in Pahrump except for casinos, a golf course and Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club, which is first and foremost a Corvette racetrack, but also has a manmade lake where you can rent bungalows and do water sports including SUP.Our rate reflects the monthly rate, which came out to $9.63/night plus electricity. The only thing I would change is that they only have a couple of garbage cans to recycle aluminum cans, but none for glass, plastic and paper. Also, the only place to dispose of dog waste is in the little dog run area in the back corner of the resort -- it'd be nice if they had a few more places throughout. All in all, a nice place to stay, but it does get boring if you stay too long.

Access: VERY easy to get here, to park, etc. Close to town, 5 min drive. There is a fancy restaurant at the vineyard, that is supposedly very delicious. The park did a special wine dinner every Wednesday for $15 which included dinner, and 3 glasses of wine. Location: Gorgeous mountains everywhere you look. The park is on the edge of town looking at Mt. Charleston part of the spring mountains, gorgeous views! Close to gas stations/redbox and close to town.Cleanliness: One of the cleanest I have stayed at with trash pickup 2x a day, amazing pools, hot tub, pickle ball courts, bathrooms, really really great! ALL OF IT. The cabins and casitas are also really nice. The dog run was nice but used mostly for pooping and not playing. Be careful about critters, we saw a baby rattlesnake before we left in the bushes, maintenance took care of it. Site Quality: Gravel sites, not my favorite but not bad, row 800-900 had the best mountain views, 900 was pull through spots the others are all back in. Noise: Nothing but the neighbors and the zooming of hummingbirds. The monthly rate gets less expensive in the summer because of the heat, but we stayed here for the month of April and it was really lovely. The staff was all very pleasant and accommodating. Lots of parties and karaoke nights. As always could stand to improve wifi services. We rented a two bedroom casita for my family to stay a few nights, really lovely place. The cabins seem nice as well and are one bedroom. The two bedroom are around $150 night and the one bedroom cabins about $85.My favorite thing was all the lovely people I met while staying here.Smiths grocery store was my spot to shop and there is a Redbox for movies at the Maverick gas station on the corner of 160 and Winery Rd. If in the area, check out death valley, particularly the Bad Water Basin and Artist's Pallet drive, Red Rock Canyon is also incredible near Las Vegas.

The weather was wonderful. The staff were very nice and friendly. Most of the park was large RV's who were snowbirds, but the staff made sure we had a section where our little trailers could be close to one another. There is a billiard room, pickle ball courts, and horseshoes available. All sites include water and electric 30 & 50 amp. WiFI is also available. There are two pools, nicely maintained. Flush toilets and showers are available near the campsites. Showers were immaculate. Park was well maintained. Daily trash pickup in front of your site. Daily waffle breakfast Mon-Friday. Free Wine tours and tasting at the Winery. They were very accommodating to allow us to use the club house for our "Thanksgiving dinner" cooked at our campsites in our Dutch Ovens. Picnic tables are only in the common areas near the activities. We enjoyed it immensely, and have scheduled a Spring Fling in April and another Grape Thanksgiving 2.0 in Nov. 2015.
