The weather is nice and it works for a place to park and get work done. Not a terrible place. Just nothing notable to stick around for with the sites being so tight and such. The casino is one minute away, so if that is your thing, this could be a really nice stop. You could walk to it, or take the complimentary valet (person takes you over in a golf cart)Cell—Service is not great. We have Verizon and AT&T. Both struggled at 2 out of 4 bars. Sometimes just 1 bar.Wifi—Actually works well enough. Not great but enough for light work.Noise—Fireworks from the casino each night. We like them but some folks might not like the noise.Location—About 2 miles from food, groceries, etc. Gas—There is a gas station a 1/4 mile from the entrance (Diesel and Gas)Stay again—Can't say we would stay here if we didn't need to. But, here we are. :)

While cell service was nearly nonexistent, we had a very good WiFi signal. Not too noisy in general, just people with their boats or sand toys. The situation is kept in check by security. No pool inside the RV park, but staying here includes pool and beach privileges at the Avi Casino across the street, right on the River. The location is a little off highway 95, down a two-lane road. Be aware that they allow guests to shoot off fireworks during a set hour each evening at the nearby beach. It can be a little loud for some pets.

The hose bib broke off in my hand sending water shooting into the air soaking all of my rig, trailer and me. I called the front desk and they said someone would come out. Twenty minutes later I had to call again as no one had been sent. After waiting 30 minutes in saoking wet cloths security finally arrived. They said that this was an issue at other sites in the park as well. The next day, after filling my water tanks the water stopped flowing through my filter. My tank hold only 16 gallons and other than washing hands and using the RV bathroom no other water was used by my rig. Turns out that the "fresh' water supply is polluted with what looks like oily coal sand. While unhooking the water this black coal poured out of my pressure regulator and the filter was totally plugged, Some of this garbage did get into my fresh tank. The gentleman from the site next door came over and asked if I had issues with the water, He didn't use a filter and sad that while brushing his teeth he felt sand in his mouth! I checked the site I had been assigned to originally, and found this black dust and sand on the ground around the broken hose connection. I went to the KOA office and told the lady behind the desk what had happened to me and the gentleman next door. I offered to show her my pictures as well but she was not interested in them. Her response was "The water here is disgusting. I wouldn't give it to my dog, I wouldn't use it to make coffee" Clearly the staff is aware that there is a problem and yet allowed guests to unknowingly drink the polluted water, This park is a public health hazard!

There is a gas station very close which was great. The Nevada roads to the park are awful, full of bumps and dips, take it slow!

But they will take your money quickly. Just beware. This campground is okay for a short period but I wouldn’t want to be here a long time.

I explained that we had been on the road for 10 hours and would be arriving within the next 10 minutes. When I got there the office gal was very nice and took her time explaining all our options and codes. They had asked how many slides we had when I booked and made sure to put us in a large parking area, it was 25 x 50 wide and was more than spacious and it backed up to a very nice green field where kids were bumping a volleyball around. Since we were coming from cold climates and it was our trailers maiden voyage we hadn’t filled our water heater so I walked a short distance to the facilities to shower in the morning. On the way there I must have been greeted “good morning” by at least 4 different families that were staying there. The showers and bathroom area was very clean and I met a older woman who was from a town in Idaho about 2 hours from me and we chatted for quite some time. When staying at the RV park get a discount at the resorts golf course. You also have access to the rest of the resort which includes, a pool, an 8 theater cinema, multiple dinner and breakfast options and a casino. We loved our stay, we felt the RV area was clean and well maintained, it was quiet yet kids still rode around on their bikes and played ball in the field. We would recommend this park to anyone.

Go back to office they give us map with 8 sites listed tell us go find one and tell us which you took. Found one barely fit into and reported it in person to office. No where to park truck so we got creative. Neighbor shows up not there fault at all. Office tells them park in 763 no one else around you. Five wheel with big slides that came to our steps at door. The staff is completely ignorant of sites and placement of rigs and sizes. They parked a camper van in a 40ft class a spot pull thru. We get knock at door asked why we are in spot. We don’t belong we explained we changed on day one this is day 5. So frustrated. sites are sand and you sink. Never again. Would rather park at Walmart. Also bathrooms and showers are nasty dirty clogged toilets. Laundry had 14 washers with 8 broke and 12 dryers with 5 broke.

The office closed at 4:30 PM so no help from the front desk. (We were able to check in before the office closed, but did not notice the wifi was not working until after she had closed the office for the day). Also, if you check in after the office is closed you have to wait for a person from the casino to pick you up in a golf cart and take you to the casino to check in. One of the worst KOA experiences we have ever had. We would not stay at this park again. We did not disconnect the toad so did not drive around to sightsee. There is a swimming pool plus other amenities at the casino across the street that KOA guests have access to, but we did not check out due to the extreme heat outside. We did enjoy a nice fireworks show that night - not sure if that is a nightly deal with Laughlin or not. On a positive note, we did not hear any road noise at night. As we drove through Laughlin the next morning it looked there were other campgrounds available so you might want to check out the amenities for the other parks first before booking with this KOA. **Also, if you take the River Road from I-40 it is very bumpy. Lots of potholes.

It was about 115 degrees out so the stay was unpleasant - no fault of the campground. We did check in at around 5:30pm and had to get a ride over to the casino to check in. Hookups were fine. Casino was... ok. Did get to watch the Dodger's game so that was great.

The beach is on a nice little cove on the Colorado River, nice sand with tiki umbrellas, jet ski rental, and a short walk to the bar. The casino has all the fixes for the gamblers, as well as a movie theater. It's definitely not the prettiest place around, but its quite the bang for the buck. There are grocery, auto parts, and hardware stores within 3 miles which was handy for a project I was working on. Needles Hwy south of the casino is a very rough road, I'm not sure how smooth Veterans Hwy is, but it can't be any worse.
