Carl, our escort, was great, as was the receptionist in the main office. Our space is a little low in front, but nothing our leveling jacks can't handle. 50 amp seems good, water is fine, our cable doesn't work but we don't care.Yeah, we'd definitely stay here again.

This was a nice park with clean level sites. Some sites have shade and grass between the sites. Clean common area with showers and laundry. We were here because AC was required, but I think with the windows open and the AC off the road noise would have been a problem from the highway. There are plenty of long term people staying and they do have some early shifts but everyone was quiet and even though the park was full it was relatively quiet in the park itself.

Check in was smooth with a very friendly staff, and we were escorted to pull through site 150 with FHUs for our three day stay. The utilities are nicely placed on the middle of the pad. Site 150 is a premium pull through. The only thing that makes this site premium is the concrete pad, small grass front yard, and shade trees; as there is no picnic table, patio, or fire pit. Sites are near each other throughout the park. We really didn’t see where any sites were better spaced than others. We received a Good Sam discount for the nightly rate, which basically paid for the lodging tax. Then there’s a $2 resort fee and $3 per pet fee ($6 for our two pets) with other charges if you bring additional people and vehicles with you. The WiFi was average for a park this size. Cable did not work, but they were trying to get the cable company to come fix it and now looking for a new cable company. However, we got a fair amount of OTA channels, with two prime channels. We got 2 bars on Verizon. There’s an interesting mix of full timers, seasonal, and short termers. I state interesting as many of the permanent party live along the South to West perimeter. Most take pride in their sites but as good as the park sites look towards the front it degrades in too many sites looking like, well, a “trailer park”. There’s a very clean and well maintained facility with a Rec Room, showers and nice big laundry. We like the rule where a site can only use two machines at a time. Unless you want to trek out into the desert where the Quads and ATVs go, there are no trails here to walk your dog, but there is a small fenced, off-leash dog area, which was nice. We thought this park would be more of a destination park and for us, it was not. This park had the worse road noise we've experienced after two years on the road. Our sound machine could not drown out the internal park muffler rumbles of locals going to work that started about 4:00 AM, the highway noise all day plus most of the night, and the 5:30ish AM train. We stayed here three nights based on reviews from other websites. Our opinion overall, this place is nothing special. However, it is a good overnighter and could be an option to explore the Reno area.

Today I made a reservation for one night in September. After answering their questions re: rig type, # of people, pets, etc., was shocked when I received the confirmation email. In addition to the $38 reservation fee for one night (minus $5.70 discount for Escapees), upon check-in I would be charged:$4.00 extra for 4 people inhabiting the RV (?)$2.00 resort fee$3.55 lodging tax$1.00 charge for the vehicle towing the RV into the park (?)$1.00 pet fee for a PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED SERVICE DOG for our son who has a physical disability. When making the reservation, I made a point of mentioning that the dog is not a pet, but a service dog. When I called back to politely question the service dog fee and point out that federal and Nevada state law prohibit public accommodations from charging a "pet fee" for service animals, I was told that the policy of the park is to charge a fee for "pets" and that they "have a nice dog park." $1 is not worth fighting for, but due to this and the other unusual fees, I've cancelled our reservation and we'll just push through to our next destination.

Check in was quick and easy, but despite still being under a state indoor mask mandate, there were none to be seen here. The layout and spacing is pretty typical of commercial camping with level sites throughout. Our pull-through site was easy to access, and while we fit, it was snug all the way around. Our utilities were easy to reach and worked well, including a heated water hook-up (handy here in the winter), and our Verizon service worked well without a booster. The park is pretty tight on space and low on grass for dog walking, but they do offer a reasonably sized dog run and there is an open field behind that park that worked well for us. There is only a little road noise, thanks to their privacy wall, but there is a lot of coming and going throughout the park (though every car that passed, drove slowly, and I didn’t hear a single car stereo). This CG is more expensive than what we usually pay for this type of site/location, and their actual pricing is a little different/vague from what I saw on their website - nightly we paid $44.18: $38 for March/Winter + $1 resort fee + $1 pet fee + $4.18 tax.

We called first and made a quick reservation, which I highly recommended as they were full by 5pm. Super friendly and helpful staff and a very clean, well maintained park. Many sites have a little grass and a shade tree. The pull-throughs were just large enough to allow to stay hooked up, but the back-in sites along the fence looked very tiny.Expect road noise from Hwy 50. This is a fairly large RV park so there was also a lot of traffic in/out as residents come and go. Sites are typical for a private RV park, too close for comfort but it filled the bill for a night’s stay. There’s a rec room, showers/bathrooms, and a coin laundry. Riley appreciated the fenced off-leash dog area. (Note: the park excludes specific breeds including Rottweiler, Doberman, Pitbull and Wolf breeds. I hate those policies, but good to know up front.)The nightly rate was $38 but then they tacked on a $2 resort fee and a $1 pet fee and then taxes. They offer several discounts including Good Sam, AAA, PA. After all the pluses and minuses, our nightly fee was $40.96.We had 3 bars of Verizon 4G. Their wifi worked fairly well, enough to get my Campendium reviews posted. ????

We didn't really have a place to sit outside the van, but it was just a one nighter. The office was being renovated, so we had to knock on a window to check in, but the office staff was friendly. They send someone in a golf cart to lead you to your site and ensure that you get set up okay. It felt a little parental, but the fellow didn't linger longer than necessary. My favorite thing about the place was the community room. Unlike many places where showers are in one area, laundry in another, etc, this building had private shower rooms, laundry, and a tv all in one place. It was great to pop clothes in the wash, jump in the shower, pop clothes in the dryer, and then watch tv until it was dry. The tv is a smart tv, but it didn't seem to be set up yet, and the cable wasn't working that night (see below). Still, this community room with secure bath, laundry, and tv is brilliant. They had games, couches and comfy chairs. I chatted for a while with a long-term resident and elderly his mother. Really nice people. The park was nice and quiet through the night. One issue: The circuit for the cable box for the whole place is on the power pillar for, you guessed it, site 47(I think). We inadvertently cut cable to everyone along two rows of the park by turning off all circuit breakers on our post before hooking up, and then turning on only the one we were actually using. It's kinda funny, kinda weird, but also easily fixed. It's a known problem and happens regularly. When I found out what happened, I just made an executive decision to put duct tape over the switch related to everyone's cable. Future problems solved!I would say the two biggest cons are that he highway is right over a concrete sound barrier, but inside the van, I didn't hear it. It is also a positive attribute since it's an easy place to stop over if traveling Highway 50. My least favorite thing about the place is that it was pretty dark at night. They need more lights along the park roadway. Walking back from the community room with my laundry, it was hard to see where I was going.
