Just stayed a night amongst 20+ side by side campers. Sites very close but campers were respectful and no noise before 8am. Some goat heads noted but mostly covered by fresh gravel. So many beautiful trails, the historic town of Ione, dinosaur museum and wildlife (including wild horses). The sites are flat, the facilities are clean, the restaurant and bar have good food and drinks. Run by a couple of generations of a really nice family. We stayed again in October 2021 for two nights. Same experience. The fall colors in the Aspen groves and snow capped hills were beautiful!Great hospitality! We will definitely go back!

  • Quiet, nice space between rigs, clean bathrooms.

The park is under new ownership and it shows. The spots are adequate for a one night stay. The real plus is the saloon and grill. The premises are spotless, glassware sparkles, bottles gleaming. The owner is also the chef and cuts his own steaks. Breakfast was fast and delcious. Will always stop when we are traveling on 50

  • Great overnight stop on Hwy 50

It’s not really a resort, but it does have limited sites with full hookups, a restaurant and a full bar, EV Charging, and some cabins. The staff here were really nice, and the food was good, good drinks too! The sites are gravel and the electrical although they did not have individual disconnects, the power was fine.We did not need water, so we didn’t know how that pressure and quality is.If you have an ATV/UTV there are trails everywhere nearby. The only negative we found was there is a bunch of old vehicles and misc stuff stored on the property.
