While there is an "RV Park" here, it looks like 4 small sites, and we were told they were 110 electric. I had seen they welcomed boondockers, so we asked if we could stay the night. They had us park on the other side of a row of tall white stumps, out of the way so others could still get by. We scored the shade of a very large tree, which helped with the 105-degree sun beating down on us. While the trailer cooled off using our generator to run the AC, we went inside for some cold drinks. We visited with the jack-of-all-trades guy who was tending bar, answering phones, and checking in hotel guests. Super-friendly and competent, he really made our afternoon. The grill was closed because the cook had to clean and prep hotel rooms - not enough staff, it would appear, because they were booked on that Saturday night. There's an RV park across the street with FHU at $40, but it didn't look like we'd fit, and we're glad we stayed where we did. We left a huge tip for the one-armed guy, who would put most millennials to shame with his work ethic and abilities. We would definitely stay again if passing through (chances are slim, but you never know). And we'd hope to see him again, maybe owning the place which is his goal. We bet he'll achieve it!
