Called last minute while driving up the highway to see if they had any room for me and my 21 ft travel trailer. Luckily they did. I arrived shortly there after and was very greeted by name. I was looking for the Sutherland Rec area and free camping when I turned into this place. It is within the rec area but it's a regular RV park. Since my rig is 63 feet long and I cant back up I decided to stay here while I explored the area. This is a private campground and golf course with about 30 sites. They have water and electric ...moreI was looking for the Sutherland Rec area and free camping when I turned into this place. It is within the rec area but it's a regular RV park. Since my rig is 63 feet long and I cant back up I decided to stay here while I explored the area. This is a private campground and golf course with about 30 sites. They have water and electric and a dump station. Hook ups are $25.00 per night and dry "beach" camping is $10.00 or $7.00 for tents. The beach camping is very limited and not for big rigs. It's off angle and more of a tent or smaller rv area. There were a couple FW in the beach area though.They let me dry camp in the hook up area for $10.00 because it was off season. There are a few live in working people but everyone was very friendly and helpful. It's quiet at night and no one messes with your stuff. My Verizon 4 G showed 2 bars and had a good data connection.Good television air signal.Not far to fuel and party store.Easy to drive through with any rig.Call first if in season, the sites are in a terraced design and not all pull through.Pretty quiet even during the day.
