High Point RV Park - Kimball NE We needed a place to stop off I-80 between Lyman WY and Omaha NE and found this basic, new RV stop for the night. Although this RV park is just a big level gravel lot with full hookups on top of the hill behind the Conoco station on the north side of I-80, it deserves a 5-star review when comparing it with any very basic overnight campsites. The girl at the front desk was friendly, helpful, smart and efficient. She told us that the RV park is only one year old, so it didn’t appear on our Rand McNally GPS. The sites are very level and hookups are easy to find and connect. Shower (3 each Men’s & Women’s) and restrooms were super clean and had nice benches and hooks in the showers. Shower temperature was easy to adjust and flow was excellent. WiFi worked well and Verizon cell service at our site #2. We were able to get Denver TV stations with just our RV antenna. There is a diner next to the Conoco (good diesel prices) and there is a Walmart and Cabelos about 30 miles east on I-80 in Sidney. There was virtually no freeway noise even though this location is right off I-80. Definitely recommend this RV Park for a quick night’s stay. — at High Point RV Park.
