There is no office at the campground, but an onsite host visited our site after we arrived. The pre-arrival email communications from the campground was one of the best we have every experienced. Site 04 was very spacious and easy to back into with our 33' Airstream travel trailer. All roads and level pads were concrete. One of the cool features of the campground was a recycled bridge they had incorporated into the park and featured as the logo for the campground. The campground was within walking distance to the quant downtown of Ashland and a short distance to Omaha.

We do not understand why they would spend the money on concrete and not make this a full hook up campground. There is also NOT a laundromat in town to use so the only 1 washer and dryer is a huge drawback.

The little downtown Ashland was within walking distance with cute brick lined streets, shops and restaurants. The park was super clean and quiet. The laundry room was really small with only one washer and one dryer but was very clean. The camp hosts were friendly. We didn’t use the bathrooms or showers. There are no sewer hook ups here but it wasn’t a huge deal. We drove into Omaha and Lincoln to explore a few times. We would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

This is the best place to stay in the Omaha area. Sites are clean, concrete, level and big. Very quiet and the owner is very nice.

  • Quiet, relaxing. No hustle and bustle. Very relaxing.

Check- in was easy. The camp host met us at the entrance to verify our registration and provide us with property and surrounding area literature. Sites are large concrete pads, long enough for one of the many trains that kept rolling by across the Salt Creek. LOL Not much in the way of shade yet since the park is only a year old, but there are many young trees ready and willing to provide shade in the coming years. There is a gravel trail for walking and biking that is right next to the park. The grass was freshly mowed within the past day or so. We would definitely come back for another weekend stay in the future.

Easy wide back-in sites and fire pits. Nicely manicured lawns and some trees around the edges. Was walking distance to Ashland, which we didn’t get to explore. Nice high pressure water. The place wasn’t too crowded and was a peaceful place to catch up on sleep after a long day of driving. A little bit of road noise but it didn’t bother us at night - we both slept like babies :)

Very nice campground! Everything was well maintained. Loved walking to downtown Ashland for drinks and bites to eat. Excellent location. Only docked a star because I wish they had full hook-ups, but they have a dump station for on your way out.

Extra clean dump with easy access to the dump on the way out of park for 45’ coach with TOAD connected. You need to make your site reservations on line as there is no office, however there is a camp host on site. We usually like to stay just off of interstate on an overnight stay. This park is 3 miles off of the interstate with well marked access to and from the highway for big rigs and large 5th wheels. This park just opened in May 2020. I’m sure it will not be long for it to be discovered by the masses.

Plenty of parking for the coach and dinghy. Hookups are conveniently located and work well but this is only a Water/Electric park with one dump station on the way out. This is a fairly new park so shade is limited; however, we stayed in site #3 and was provided lots of shade. New and clean playground equipment. Each site had a picnic table and fire pit. RV hosts were very nice and helpful. Good ATT hotspot speeds of 35mbps up and 6mbps down.Cons - For being fairly new, our site was not level, front was 7" low. There was only two dumpsters and they were located at the front entrance, which was not convenient. There are bathrooms but we did not use them and I don't believe they had showers. We stayed here in a 40' MH and would stay again.
