Very short drive into Whitefish and close enough to Glacier NP and all the other outdoor activities. The RV Park was quiet, clean, and well-kept. Located off the main road, the park is tucked back behind a few other buildings and surrounded by trees making the noise from the road unnoticeable. We had great wifi via AT&T. Verizon was unreliable. Denise was a very accommodating host who made our month-long stay a breeze. We will definitely be back!

We loved that the park close to everything - we rode our bikes downtown and on the awesome paved greenway trails around town several times. However, the park is very tight. We were lucky to be on the end site, and that the site across from us was vacant when we arrived, otherwise I don't really know how we would have fit into the park (although I did see a few other Class A's, so I guess they figured it out somehow). The other strange thing is the utility layout. All 3 are very spread out so you have to place your rig strategically in the site and/or have extenders. And what's the most unusual is that your sewer hookup is pretty much under your neighbor's picnic table! Both campground wifi and Verizon 4G coverage were great - we had no issues working during our stay.

  • Cramped, but well maintained.

However, the management clearly takes pride in the park and keeps trees trimmed back just enough for big rigs. The roads in the RV park, are tight, but accessible. The park is about 50/50 transient to seasonal - but all the seasonal residents keep their spots pristine. The bathrooms are clean and the water pressure for showers is good. The biggest drawback here is the nut-to-butt layout - unless you luck into an end-cap site, your concrete picnic table is places grossly close to your neighbor's sewer hose. I personally felt very guilty for how close our neighbor's meals were to my crap shoot. The hook-ups are laid out pretty funky, and required extenders for both our sewer hose and water hose. While it can be difficult to actually get a person on the phone to make or change a reservation, once you do, they are very friendly and accommodating. Having double booked our original site, the management offered us a 30A site at a discount (hence the $35 rate). The park is relatively close to the downtown Whitefish area - we walked into town (~1mile) and rode our bikes there several times. It's also very close to 2 supermarkets, and a few restaurants. Quiet at night, and while it is pretty close to 93, it was not loud in the daytime either. Park WiFi was surprisingly usable from our site (50) - although we noted some folks from other sites needing to go to the center 'park' (small green space) to use park WiFi. And extender would do the trick in this scenario, as the WiFi provides decent bandwidth. ATT/Verizon also fine here.
