We somehow snatched a river view site at the very last minute—which was ideal. If you can book one of those or a site along the edge, you will have a nice view. We had a lovely & relaxing view of a little river, which was especially beautiful at sunset. Spacious concrete level sites with full hookups. Lots of amenities for families with kiddos like the playground, splash, pad, & also a little dog park. The bathhouse was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN & the entire property is very well maintained. Looking forward to our return. Side note—if you like to cycle, this would be a great spot. We saw lots of cyclists on paved trails.

Would HIGHLY recommend this park. We are a big rig and cannot stay in the remote campgrounds. But we are big outdoors people. This quiet side of the Smokies and this great location, only a few miles from GMNP allowed us to hike daily if we wanted with a short drive. This was a GREAT location! we did not really spend a lot of time at the park, we were off in the woods :) There is SO much to do and see with a relatively short drive. We did go over to Pigeon Forge to ride ATV's on private land. We did visit some friends that live near Gatlinburg. Made trips to Maryville for supplies etc. But that said, this location is closer to what we like to do...hike. This is a well run ship here. The entire family is around all the time. They are organized during arrival time and help direct. We are full time and stayed for a month. We could totally do it again and not repeat any hikes, there is so much to see and do here. Down side is connectivity. We are retired so not internet dependent but post on our IG.

Family owned. The owners were so incredibly kind to us. The site was a concrete pad and we had pretty views of the Little River. Located next to River Rat so you can people watch the tubers go by. We would definitely stay there again.

  • Just a parking lot but some people enjoy that

This area is clearly for campers who enjoy a perfectly clean paved resort type park. It was one big parking lot. A nice resort, very nice. But I think we learned this area is more like that. All campsites in the area looked this way. This site is not good if you want any type of privacy at all. However the service was very kind. Again it’s all in what you prefer as a camper.

Showers, bathrooms and laundry areas all fresh and clean. Close to bike trail and beautiful drive along the Cedar River. Owners show their care with nice landscaping touches. A little pricey for us usually but we were not disappointed. We’d love to stay again, only longer.
