If your rig is 30’+ you’ll have a hard time getting in and out of your site, they are not big enough. They’re squeezing too many sites in that will not accommodate the size. They’re squeezing too many sites in that will not accommodate the size. The road is too close to the sites which means you have to maneuver into the site across in order to get in or out. If we were not home, the campers across from us would not be able to get out. We had to move our sitting area and close our awnings in order for them to get out. Sitting outside is not very pleasant since its a dusty dirt road with a lot of traffic. Everything you put outside will get very dusty. No wifi in the RV park, just in the restaurant and its weak. There’s no grass, they’re weeds. They reference every site has a cement pad and picnic table, not true. Thompson Falls is beautiful, there’s so much to see and do and explore. Highly recommend Thompson Falls but this RV park needs a lot of work.

Whew! The next day explored the area and found Rimrock... Swell campground-restaurant etc. Don't want to run out of letters here..For only $5.00 more than the state park... FHU's... Showers.. WiFI if sitting above the restaurant.Great food and a swell price, a small museum of things the owners have found... AND! a bowling alley! It's been a while so I sure hope they are still there as I am in the process of planning my trip coming up next week. The campground was quiet, the showers were clean, the sites were level, the power & water pressure were swell, the ladies in the restaurant were cuties, and the food was fine. What else can I say?!Hey Rimrock-Lodge & RV park... I'm headed your way next week... I hope..on the way to Hot Springs MT.Take Care Everyone.. I just noticed I can post pics, but they are somewhere in my computer, I'll find them later. This place is worth a stop!

Rimrock Lodge felt like home with friendly staff and home cooking. The owner even crafts pies at the restaurant, simply because he enjoys it! The views are beautiful along the trail and the night sky is awesome. The lodge isn't over the top with rules like most places. Enjoyable and a great get away from it all.
