We also got six eggs from his chickens ! The road to the park is dirt once you get down a few blocks off the main street and it was fairly bumpy. Some long termers live here and they were all really nice. Even though this place served our purposes just fine, it is in need of a little love.

We stayed here for 1 night on a travel day. There isn’t much in the town but the camp host was awesome. He gave us fresh eggs, put a rug at our steps and delivered the paper the next morning. Such thoughtful touches. Close to the interstate but quiet. Internet is really fast. We would stay here again.

Fine for one night to sleep and leave early. Mel will meet you to collect your cash payment and bring you a door mat, trash can and binder of info. Due to covid we didn’t touch the binder. In the morning he delivers a paper to your windshield. Full service. Back in. Fine enough place just not a great location scenery wise. Would stop again if passing through.

We came during off season, and they were still super nice. They brought me brochures, Surplus information, and even brought us fresh eggs for free! They also offered to fill our water tank from their house when the water Spicket was frozen, which was super nice. Nice people, convenient place off highway in a cute, small town. That would be fine if it was maintained. That was not the case here. Grass very overgrown, not even sure what the office was in, if there was one. Was greeted by a random child who said the owner wasn’t around, then some other lady gave us a suggestion where we could park. I hate to leave a bad review of a small business trying to make it, but I feel people should know. This place did not feel safe to stay. We did not stay.

He brought a small galvanized lined garbage can with a lid & handle, welcome mat for our stairs & a binder with info in it from WiFi stuff to maps of area, coupons for nearby cafes!! Today we woke up & on our front steps was the Billings Gazette Newspaper!! And the little bit of trash that was in our personal can by our RV was empty with a clean liner!! It’s a small RV place but the sites are wide & some have trees. We were on the end & it was like a park setting right outside our door! No amenities but great personal customer service! Thanks Mel for making us wish we had planned a longer stay!! We will be back!! ????
