T-Mobile was unusable. Usage of a cell booster is required if working remotely.Wifi was good in the mornings until about 9-10am, but sluggish in the afternoons and evenings. New equipment coming soon I was told.Laundry is outdoors and covered, no dryer and no charge. Newer washing machine worked well. The two older units weren't very good and had to redo wash in the better unit. Laundromat in Lolo closes at 9pm and in Missoula 10pm ($0.25/6min).

The nearby highway was far enough away where the noise level was very tolerable. There was no square dancing during our visit but it would have been fun to watch. Our site was level with working hookups. We had plenty of privacy and space. The staff was very efficient and friendly. We will stay here again when ever we are in the Missoula area. It is one of our favorites.

It is not set up like a lot of rv parks with all the rvs lined up in a row. Some are sort of staggered, or around a cul-de-sac. Almost all the sites are quite spacious so sitting outside is inviting. The setting of the campground is peaceful among the tall timbers. If it were cooler, I would be so tempted to go to the primitive sites in the back. Large open space, but surrounded with trees and just a little ways from the creek. The only "con' is the lack of adequate wi fi, but in a setting like this, it is nice to disconnect for awhile. It works pretty well in the morning, but then as more and more people get on line, it becomes non usable, except at the office. The office is in a large room attached to the square dance hall. Watching the people square dance was fun.

If you can go without hookups, stay in the primitive sites right along the Lolo river. Absolutely wonderful spot in the back of the property. Restrooms are closed because of covid, so cannot comment on them. We fished a lot in the Lolo river which is accessible from campground, and caught many small trout. River is also good for swimming in...water is a little chilly. Beautiful area overall. checkout The Jack Saloon, only 15 minutes away, for a great burger. Only reason I did not give this place a 5-star is because the wifi was really sporadic. Off more than it is available. And a little bit of traffic noise due to being located right on Hwy 12. But overall we really enjoyed it here and extended our stay for one extra night.

It was all gravel, dirt and grass, and it rained most days, but my area did not get too muddy. The staff and workcampers were exceptionally welcoming. I stayed a week, and got 7 nights for the price of 6 at $36/night for full hookups.Verizon was voice only, and the campground wifi was almost worthless. Each antenna had 2.4 and 5 GHz channels, which they mistakenly called 2G and 5G. The closest antenna was right by my trailer, and my phone showed a strong signal, but the 5 GHz channel would keep disconnecting, or sometimes would stay connected with no internet signal. The 2.4 GHz channel would connect but had no internet. I could also connect to the office 2.4 GHz channel, but that had no internet signal either.Site 12 backed towards the road, which was a good way off through the trees, but the highway noise was still significant. This was a good location for Lolo Pass and Traveler's rest, and only a few minutes drive from Missoula.

Very friendly, helpful folks checked us in and offered us suggestions on things to do in the area. Rules are enforced, such as quiet times, barking dogs, etc. We are not dancers but we might have to start! They also have one of the largest square dance apparel stores that I have ever seen! We biked parts of the Bitterroot Trail that runs from Missoula south to Hamilton. (Be sure to stop in for pie at Glen’s Cafe in Florence!) Showers and bathrooms are a little old but clean. Wi-fi was pretty good, better than at many parks. We are able to stream with our own AT&T network. Verizon was poor. We’d be glad to stay here again.

It is kind of a cramped campground but there are plenty of trees and everyone is really quiet. Apparently this is a world famous dance hall and we met people from all over the country & Canada that we’re there for circle dancing. We went up and watched them dance and they were all so nice and amazing dancers. Hope I can move that well when I’m in my 80’s!Our kids had fun playing frisbee golf and wiffle golf. The park WIFI didn’t work great at our campsite but the manager said it was down. Sometimes it worked. It worked great at the office and I was able to work from there since they have plenty of space. But the real pleasure of this campground was the 2-ply toilet paper! Haven’t had that in over 10 mths of full time travel.

It doesn't rain a lot in Montana, so you may not encounter this problem. There is a long list of park rules which covers a full sheet of paper, and there are others that aren't listed. To wit: we pulled up to their only dump station and connected our hose only to be interrupted "Sir, move your rig so that it is directly above the sewer inlet. We have had problems with 'accidents'." I don't have accidents, so I told this bozo "I need to fully extend my sewer hose; otherwise it will not drain properly." "Move your rig over the inlet."Too many rules!

They were nice enough to figure out a spot for us and I think they thought they were putting us off to the side, but we loved our spot. No one was next to us. Site B.There are a lot of people who are here for months, we saw them potlucking every night if they weren't meeting in the square dancing hall. It was an older group, but they were quiet! They have tent spots and a couple spots that have no hook ups. So if they ever say they are full and you are good without hook ups, ask about that. They do have a dump station area, so that was nice and free cold water laundry!!! you have to dry it yourself, but they have lines and you can lay it out at your site. We had a sunny spot so it dried faster than a drier! They also have free detergent sometimes just sitting there for people to use.If you don't mind being 15 minutes from Missoula, then this is the place. It is 3 minutes to Lolo, where there are restaurants, casinos and gas stations. There are also mountain biking trails in town and you can get to the paved trail that goes all the way to Missoula. It's actually a 50 mile paved path from Missoula to Hamilton. There is also river access before you his Missoula. The river path in Missoula is awesome as well and there is good fishing. We trail ran and biked just north of Missoula in Sawmill Gulch Road. Tons of paths everywhere. Flat to huge climbs. Awesome! Cable, wifi, bathroos, disc golf, small putting area.

They have restrooms and showers and laundry with cold water machines, but no dryers only clothes lines. We didn't try them. There are a lot of people who seem to live here long term, and we definitely felt like the strange young things that rolled into town and we are not that young! It seems to be a close knit community and people seemed fascinated by us. It was quite a weird feeling. Still for a few nights it was a pretty place that allowed us to be near Missoula.
