The Travelers Rest state park in the town of Lolo was day-use only, no camping. Lolo Hotsprings RV was looking pretty good when we got to it, after a long day driving. It's old and it shows it. But the campsites were big enough and not many other RVs were there. Restrooms were reasonably clean. I'd stay there again under similar circumstances.

When i got there on July 3, the nice man at the office said yes we have you in site 38 and gave me the receipt with #38. However as we started to go into the campground another staff man directed us to our site which was 37 because 38 was occupied. 38 was shady and the occupant had a large 5th and several atv. We go settled, in a not shady spot of 37 and then went into the office. The man who had taken us to site 37 was there and when we mentioned the error he said that once people go over the bridge no one checks to see which spot people are in. I'm not sure if the people in 38 took the wrong spot just because it was better but it is the responsibility of management to make sure that when people are assigned a spot they go there. We were only there one night but it really pissed me off. The one large hot pool was 110 degrees. Too hot for me and the paint was peeling off just about everything.
Not well maintained, secluded, not much to do outside the resort itself but drive.

Turning onto the driveway/bridge over Lolo Creek was a little hair raising, worrying over whether or not I would bottom out and destroy my rear cap. The interior roads are dirt. The interior roads are dirt. The RV sites are not delineated and are grassy/rutted/mud. 30A service & water only, dilapidated dump station on site. The bathroom was dirty, garbage can full, paper towels on floor and benches. The campground dumpsters were full the whole time we were there. The Hot Springs across the road had horse riding, disc golf on the hill, the hot springs and pool, a restaurant/bar, and the lodge for non-campers. The springs was a concrete pool built around the actual spring, $10 per adult for its use. Not much else to do in this area unless you drive.

If you’re looking for super fancy this is not your place. It’s priced approximately. The lowest rate is $17/dry site. Which is why I wrote that. I troll for the cheapest spots. You can get hook ups for $34. Soaking is $9/person. The lowest rate is $17/dry site. Which is why I wrote that. I troll for the cheapest spots. You can get hook ups for $34. Soaking is $9/person. A dry cabin with a table and a bunk set up (full on the bottom twin on the top) is $58 and includes two soaks ($9/each) and two breakfast vouchers ($8/each). We chose to rent a dry cabin, let our 16 year old stay in it, and plugged our cab over camper into the front pouch. The bathrooms by the hot pools are gross but if you cross the road and go to the cabin bathrooms they are way hotter and cleaner... the hot pools are nice but not a nature experience. They are concrete. Minerals from the springs have corroded the pool a bit but it’s clean. They told us it was about 100 degrees but it was probably more like 104. Very pleasant.
