This is a fun(ny) park. The staff is super nice, locally-owned, camp store onsite and in a great location on Canyon Ferry Lake. I launched my kayak from there. It's also far enough from Helena to have a nice camp feel, but close enough to Helena to get into town to run errands. It's also a boat launch so there's a lot of traffic. Folks seem to have been there over lifetimes. There's a great bar across the street you can get food and drinks at within walking distance. It's not fancy, there are no luxuries, use your hot spot, not their wireless network, and make sure you have a surge protector. My air conditioner really did not work there given the power situation. I have a polarity tester and there was never enough juice. I used none of their facilities so can't comment on bathrooms and whatnot.
