Free RV park located behind the cafe & gift shop. No need to sign in, just drive around back and pick a spot. We got here a little after 5PM and had a choice of spots with electric hook ups. Not many campers here, but maybe that’s because it’s October and the low temperature was in the upper 20s. We are traveling in a 37 ft class A motorhome and no problems with leveling. Definitely would stay here again. Verizon signal was 2 bars. Was able to text and search the internet with no problems.

Then there is the casino parking lot. 2 totally different areas. The parking lot is out front and fills up most nights with truckers and overnighters. The rv park is out back of the casino and is signed as such. It has 5-6 electrical boxes. These boxes have 50, 30, 15 amp service connections. So you can fully expect 2 rvs per box when you stay here. My stay the temps were in the high 90's and all were using the boxes for AC and the voltage did not seem to sag. I didn't think this was possible but it seems to be wired to handle this. Big plus!the lot is dust and gravel so you can expect o have dust as the many many people looking for a site drive through and round and round. Was a bit of entertainment to try and guess where they might end up. Many of the sites are level but not all. My stay was during the fire season and there were lots of fires within miles of this spot so lots of smoke in the area depending on the wind direction. This made for some amazing sunsets. This is a VERY popular place. I arrived early (before noon) and was able to snag an electrical hookup. But do not expect to get an electrical spot if you arrive much later than that. Many arrive early and stay the night to leave the next day. Some, like me, stay a few days and enjoy the small casino, gift shop, mountain scenery and the cafe. Cafe was ok. Breakfast was good. The other meals were cafeteria food and I did have meals there can really recommend the breakfast.ATT is not even a hint in this area for miles. Verizon had 4 bars but don't be deceived by this. It worked well after 11PM to the early morning. It then degraded throughout the day to being unusable (even for just email or a text) by around 2-3 PM. There is one tower in the area for miles and it gets overloaded so don't expect internet here after 2PM to around 11PM. 4 bars but no (and I do mean NONE) throughput. Luckily the casino/giftshop/cafe building has free internet that if you need some you can walk inside to get it. It's a short walk from the rv park to the casino building. There is also a hotel (was full every night I was there) and a gas station/convenience store/small casino on the west side of the parking lot.The restrooms in the gift shop were pretty clean considering how busy this place is. The building is open from 6am to 11pm. Not sure of the rest rooms in the gas station and hours there but I think it is open 24 hours. No water visible not any place to dump your tanks. There is also a horse corral on the west side of the rv park.Noise can be a little problem if you dislike generator running. One night one rv in the park had some insanely loud construction generator running late into the night. There will also be the truckers running the diesel engines all night as they rest/sleep. The parking lot out front filled up every night with these. It is far enough for me not to be bothered but if you are sensitive to noise it may bother you.Overall, as I mentioned in the title, not perfect, but for free there are few places that will compare to this little place on I-90 in western Montana.

We grabbed a great pull through completely in the shade and set up. We were level also. Had two fabulous Chicken Fried Steak dinners at the cafe and met quite a few of the other campers. We feel we hit the jackpot with this one. So much nicer than a parking lot at a big box store. So glad we found it here it was the perfect respite.

You are allowed to stay a few nights if you want. If you can't find parking in the back you can park in the parking lot up front with the semi trucks. Also if you just want a bed for the night they have a lodge as well. The Saloon / gift shop / restaurant is fun. You have to see all the silver dollars. Other amenities include a small casino, gas station and a horse corral. We will definitely stay here on our next time through I-90

We didn’t have time this trip to go into the shops, hopefully next time.

We were just passing through so just a one nighter this time. The posts with the electrical hooks were mostly taken up (remember they have 50,30,20 amps at each post so just because someone already has a cord ran to it there still may be another amp outlet that might work for you) so we just found a spot off to the side. A little truck/traffic noice til later evening but nothing to really bother. There is potable water here! North east end of the gift shop under the tree is a blue spigot next to a concrete barrier, water on all year so fill your tank if needed. Great food and great bar.

I pulled in late and was a bit unsure where the official spots were, but found a great spot (there was plenty of room) and was generally pretty impressed. Arrived late and left early the next am so didn’t see much but would absolutely stop over here again! One thing to note— I entered the RV Park into google maps and it wanted me to take a dirt road into the woods west-ish of the complex... don’t do that! ???? Easy access from right behind the motel. Like another poster said, there is also a corral for horses and it was cool to see it in use on our stopover.

The sites are large and there are at least four posts with 2+ 30 amp electrical connections. During our three night stay there was only one other rig that was here during this time. Everyone else seemed to use it as a convenient free stop off I-90, which is totally fine. We ended up moving to Cabin City National Forest campground over the weekend as my wife didn't feel confident to leave the rig here while we were on the Hiawatha. Nothing specific happened to give this impression, there were just some homeless people walking the parking lot by the Casino and with the frequent influx of nightly visitors we thought it would be a good idea to move. They actually do not have a RV dump on site, but there is one just a 1.5-miles East off of De Borgia Haugen Frontage Road. Potable water is available on the East side of the Casino/Gift shop.Don't get me wrong, we would stay here again, but when things are offered as "free" often times this means people do not take care of something as if they paid for it or it was their own. While we were here we witnessed an older Class-A somehow get their bumper hooked onto one of the power posts and proceeded to destroy it leaving the breaker box split open with exposed wiring. As soon as they were freed they took off. Sigh.In conclusion, if you set your expectations to know you will be staying in a shallow woods behind a Motel/Casino, but with free electricity and water availability, you'll be fine.T-Mobile: 24.5 up / 13.3 downVerizon: 7.9 up / 3.4 down
