I saw a couple of ladies talking, and gave a smile and a wave as I passed. One of the ladies screwed up her face and yelled "SLOW DOWN!" with vitriol usually reserved for people who torture puppies or something. I looked down at my speedometer, and it read about 13mph. The speed limit in the park is 7.5. Well, perhaps I deserved a "talking to," and if she had waved me down I certainly could have stopped for a talk. But she (who I learned later was the wife of the owner) didn't want to take the time to be nice, but chose to just yell with hate. I later apologized to the owner, but never received an apology for being treated so shabbily.

If you approach from the east, you’ll pass the park and then take the off-ramp at exit 0 to access it. On your final approach to the campground, you’ll pass under a 14-foot high railroad bridge (if your RV is somehow taller than 14 feet, you’re probably already aware of that). The entrance to the campground which leads to the office is the second entrance on the right after the bridge. The office is about 100 feet from the entrance, and you can park in the right lane to check in.The office contains a small store with some supplies, refrigerated drinks, and an ATM machine. You can also purchase ice and propane at the office: the propane tank is next to the office building. If you have packages delivered while you’re at the campground, they’ll be dropped off at the office and kept in the front left corner for you to come by and pick up. The small laundry room is to the right of the office, and there are bathrooms at the end of the building. There is another bathhouse building a few rows away from the office. The campground is a mix of back-in and pull-through sites, but most of the back-in sites are occupied by long-term residents. With the exception of the row in front of the office, the pads are gravel. We stayed at two pull-through sites during our stay, and both were fairly level. There are rules against putting any mats or stakes into the grass: each site has several tiny sprinklers that will pop-up during the overnight hours if it hasn’t rained in awhile. A nice feature of the pull-through sites we had was there was an extra parking space at the rear of the site, you can you park two vehicles at your site. The sites near and east of the office are fairly shaded; the rest of the park is mostly open. While the residents of the campground are fairly quiet, there is a lot of environmental noise: road noise from I-15, the occasional train horn from the active tracks about a mile away, and the airplanes flying in and out of the airport behind the tall hill off to the west of the campground. And on Friday and Saturday nights during the summer, you can faintly hear the musical acts performing on an outdoor stage at the bar just down the street from the campground (on the other side of the bridge). But all of that is to be expected at a campground on the edge of downtown. And the location has certain advantages: there is a shopping center with a grocery store, a Home Depot, and a few restaurants just a mile away, and a short walk from the campground entrance puts you on a bike trail that parallels the highway and brings you over the Missouri River. There are plenty of places to walk dogs: inside the campground there is a fenced-in dog area in the southwest corner of the campground, and next to that is a grassy field used as a storage area for boats and RVs. There is a also a forested area just across the street from the campground. In terms of cell service, the average speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay was about 21Mbps down and 8Mbps up, and we had no real trouble steaming video other than some occasional buffering. The one speed test I did with my AT&T phone showed 60Mbps down and 7 up. We didn’t originally plan to stay here as long as we did: we had a medical emergency during our initial stay and as a result we had to extend our stay and then make arrangements to come back after a quick trip to Glacier National Park for a medical follow-up. The campground staff told us they always keep one or two sites in reserve for such emergencies and they let us extend our original reservation in the same site so we didn’t have the extra stress of changing sites. So we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

After a couple days of walking around the park with dogs, I can see this was a mobile home park in the past, then some more gravel roads were added at the back, and it was renamed as an RV Park. There are about 1/3 full time residents here based on permanent porches, gazebos, grills, porch swings, 40+ lb propane tanks, and work vehicles. The park is located between a highway, railroad track, and airport and, on the positive side, is at the end of the bike path. I believe the sites are mostly full hookups (water, electric, and sewer). I used the laundromat for $2/wash and 2$/dry and all worked well. The asphalt part of the park road badly needs to be repaved. The front desk staff are pleasant and helpful. Easy place to find and navigate with a truck and 26' trailer. On Saturday night there was a live band performing at a nearby, which could be heard in the park. The price was reasonable, but this isn't my style of camping and I probably wouldn't seek this place out for another stay.

Good place to stop for a couple nights on the way to Glacier. Sites level gravel. No views and few trees for shade. Quiet at night. Lots of long term people but their sites were junk free. Would have appreciated it more if it would have been cheaper. Able to stream okay. Stores and Lewis and Clark less than a half hour drive.

This is an older park and has been well used. We had the same type of back in as last time. Our site, 109 nosed out to the main road so leaving early in the morning was easy. The site was paved with a table on the grass. All amenities worked even this late in the season. We paid $43 and change up from $28.00 last spring because we needed full services. We still feel we received good value. It is evident that there are many long term campers as many were skirted or in the process of being. All sites were neat and tidy though. A sign of a well run operation. We will return next spring.

Bathroom was clean, but a little beat up-exposed plywood on the ceiling above shower area, floor grates bent/damaged, minor graffiti carved into toilet stall walls. The "mini golf" offered here is pretty sad. We had an open site, good for satellite and solar, and level. Staff was friendly. A little too pricy for what it is.

I have a 40' Class A motorhone and my leveling jacks raised one side of the coach so much that both back wheels were several inches off the ground. Full service sites, 50A, water and sewer. Be warned, the water pressure is huge, over 75 PSI. I was not notified of this when I checked in but luckily put a restrictor on when hooking up. Grass between sites and the sites are well spaced along with a picnic table. Some highway, train and plane noise from nearby airport. All in all, not a bad park but it rates only 3 stars. Nice staff and easy on/off to expressways. No cable but plenty of major channels via antenna. We would stay here again, especially for one night. Big rig friendly.
