The hosts are spectacular—they make every guest a welcome sign, had a bag of fresh baked cookies clipped to our site marker and came out to warmly greet us upon arrival. A few of the sites have private wooden decks and there is an amazing communal fire pit area down by the river—free fire wood and kindling provided by the hosts. The campground is on a major highway so you’ll hear a bit of road noise but not bad. There is zero cell signal and the campground WiFi is spotty. Cafe was closed when we were there. No laundry.

We were concerned that we would not be able to back into our site but it was fine and we were nestled right along the river. There was a walking path along the river with access for fishing. There was a large communal area below the campsites with a fire pit, tongs for roasting marshmallows, hammock, and picnic tables. The Inn is located on a busy highway leading to Yellowstone but we weren't bothered too much by it as we were focused on the beautiful Gallatin River. If you are lucky enough to be staying on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday you will have to opportunity to purchase breakfast in the cafe which is strictly for those staying at the Inn. Delicious! We enjoyed the amazing breakfast the owners made and it was priced very reasonably. If cell service and internet are a must for you, this may not be the best place. For us, it was heaven!

We loved this campground! All of the sites back onto the river, so you have a great view looking out back and can hear the water from your site. All of the sites back onto the river, so you have a great view looking out back and can hear the water from your site. The sites are very narrow, but we had a nice table to sit at. The sites sit above the river, but there are stairs to go down to the river and there is a very nice communal area with a large fire ring, chairs and a hammock. The other guests were very friendly and it was nice meeting other campers in the communal area. The only downside to this campground is the road noice and lack of cell service. The road noise wasn't so bad, at night there were not a lot of cars on the main road. We had absolutely no cell service. The campground does provide wifi, but it wasn't working for us a lot of the time. So I would not recommend this spot if you need reliable wifi or cell service. Otherwise, it is absolutely gorgeous area with a very nice vibe!

The sites either back up to the river or are parallel to the river...talk about a view!! There are short paths down to a delightful picnic, grill and fire pit area complete with hammock and swing right on the river. The cafe is open (Wednesday to Saturday) for a delicious homemade breakfast. The campground is about 30 minutes from Bozeman and about an hour from Yellowstone. Our biggest hesitation before coming to this campground was the lack of cell signal in the area, however they have satellite internet. We used WiFi calling for phone calls. We were able to work from here. Although speeds varied, this was the first speed test upon arrival: 9.06 Mbps download, 3.58 Mbps upload. The owners are friendly and helpful. We even received homemade cookies upon arrival. The campground is well cared for and very clean. We already booked reservations to come back again! The people in the site next to us have come back every summer for 31 years, this place is that special! Probably the only "con" to mention is the fact it is right off the US-191 N. There is some road noise, especially at times during the day. We rarely noticed it.
