Owner very nice a very laid back kind of place spaces not to close lots of room right on the river and the town of Deer Lodge is very cool. Lots of old buildings Old prison was cool. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Since we were planning to be there on a Friday and Saturday night I reserved in advance but wouldn’t have needed to unless a pull-through site was important. The pull-through sites filled up each night but the rest of the campground only had a few campers. The owners checked us in and were super friendly. We got a nice back-in site on the Clark Fork River and had fun watching birds and fishermen floating by on the river. The KOA is close enough to walk to the center of town and only 0.7 mile from the Old Montana Prison Museum and Auto Museum which made for an interesting afternoon visit. Our site had only electric (50/30) and water hookups. There is a dump onsite which is free for registered guests and $5 for non-campers. This KOA does not have a laundry.

  • On a creek and close to I-90

A great place to stay the night. The manager was outstanding and the views of the creek were great.
