Nice RV park, very friendly. Verizon cell coverage is not very good, neither is the parks wifi, so working remote is a little painful.

This site is perfect for accessing GNP. Sites are well maintained, but not the most level. Bathrooms are clean with hot water, and laundry is fairly priced ($1.50 per wash or dry). Definitely would stay again if visiting Glacier!

These sites are a lot more spacious than the older side of the park, so no issues there, and LONG stalls. My 40ft with a toad, I did not have to unhook the trailer and I still parked the rav4 behind the trailer. 60ft stalls maybe? Tree coverage is nice too. There is a train that seemed to go by every 20 min, but it is out in the distance, but can be loud if you are sensitive to train horns. The power held firmly around 115-118V so good power at the sites! There are yurts, cabins, a playground, group camp sites, etc. And only a 6 mile drive to the west glacier entrance as well.Cell service...The whole region is dim on service as one of the two towers burned in a forest fire, and on top of this, there are trees...mountains...more trees. So in the park, calls can be done...but not that well. However if you leave the park and head into Corom or Hungry Horse, the service gets a little better. Columbia Falls into Kalispell, the cell signal is 5 bar easy. I never completely lost signal, but it stayed around 3-4 bars, but nothing would happen. So there is "signal", but just a weak signal combined with a heavily congested standalone tower, thus the 1 bar rating.

It is a short drive to west glacier - definitely one of the closest places to the National Park.Good convenience store on site. Not far from many local amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. There is a nearby train but it didn’t really bother us. There is some highway noise but it wasn’t too bad. Most everyone was respectful and quiet. Some of the sites here - especially the ones on the south side that start with H - look really nice. But our site was really, really small. Our firepit was almost on top of our neighbors electric and septic hook ups. And, I’m not sure if our neighbors or the size of the sites was to blame, but we couldn’t sit outside a few times because it smelled like an rv dump.Park wifi was okay - not great for calls, but steady for emails. It really slowed down after dinner when more people were on it. Cell data was spotty but, talking to other people, that’s just how this area is. If you need really reliable internet, the Columbia falls library is 10 minutes away and is a great backup.Internet:Verizon: <1 mbps downAT&T: 14 mbps down - but unreliablePark wifi: 2 mbps down

Even our picnic table was on a slope. WiFi was not reliable unless working outside the office or in the rec room. This was even though we were sited close to office & WiFi antenna. If we were to stay here again I would rather be in the newer area of the park even though it has some negatives as well (like being dustier). Next time in area we’d probably choose to stay in Whitefish or Columbia Falls as we ended up were there more days doing things than inside Glacier itself.

You won't be impressed by the ping time when you run an internet test, but I was able to stream shows at night with only a rare bit of buffering. The Verizon cellular signal is good enough for phone calls in the newer end of the park, but in the section near the office (with better shade) you may need to walk toward the road to get good quality signal for a phone call. Yes - there is a train, but it's not close enough to interrupt a conversation or your sleep. There is a playground area that is popular, camp store, laundry, showers - all appear to be working and clean although I visited only the camp store. Glacier NP is majestic and beautiful. Kalispell and Columbia Falls offer more shopping. Don't miss trying Huckleberry Pie when it's in season. I stayed 9 days in a 26' travel trailer.
Nice park with easy access to GNP.

I loved this campground, super clean and nicely spaced. Nice laundry facility and cute park for my kids to play at. Overall would recommend! Also our AT&T wifi box was able to get a decent connection to allow for streaming! Cell signal wasn’t the best though. (Sprint/T-Mobile)

Convenient campground to Glacier National Park. Nicely spaced sites, full hook ups and friendly staff. Rental place next door for boats and bikes. Could hear trains nearby but could sleep fine in RV. WIFI decent. Big rig friendly.
Decent campground with reasonably spaced sites.

This was wrong. The service was barely able to hold a video call with ATT and Verizon and a cell booster. The wifi was OK when nobody else was on it. We ended up driving into Columbia Falls on the days we had to work.Aside from this, this park is pretty decent. We stayed in the new area of the park and the gravel was still being dumped as we rolled up. The sites are a reasonable distance apart; it's not like the parking lot campgrounds we have seen. There's good water pressure and up to 50 amp service. There were a ton of kids running around and playing everywhere. The absolute best part of this park is that it is so close to the west entrance of Glacier. This allowed us very easy access to the park.

The shop next to the RV Park, the guy is great! 15 minutes from the entrance. Was able to use my Verizon jetpack for work, bars are not always a great indication of good service. My upload was 7, download 5 and pings 112 with a WE Booster. Without it, not good, does not even bring up the pages well. Needed this for work, so it was imperative for the booster. A train runs in the early morning, but only if you are awake at 2-4 you will hear it. Remember, with the WE Booster it is 4-5 bars, without one, it's about 2-3 and not powerful enough.

It is tight getting around. Narrow roads with lots of trees. We were traveling with friends, and neither of our sites were remotely level. We needed lots of blocks in the front of our motorhome and never got completely level. We had to use a foot stool to be able to reach the entry stairs comfortably. Sites are narrow and very close together. Our tow vehicle would only fit in sideways. We were not able to extend our awnings due to trees. Surprisingly, we were able to get a signal for Directv despite the trees. WII FI was unavailable most of the time. Very weak Verizon signal even with our cell booster. There are loads of trains and the associated blowing whistles especially at night. Even though we were in a site towards the back, the road noise from highway 2 was loud and constant. The positive aspect is the proximity to Glacier. Also, it is an easy drive to Whitefish and Kalispell.
Basic but perfectly fine park to use as a home base when visiting Glacier Park.

There's nothing fancy about it, but the sites are decently sized (no shrubs or trees, just wide open grass and gravel) and the staff was very friendly. The WiFi never worked at all during our 5 day stay, but we had good Verizon coverage and weak AT&T coverage. There was a fenced dog area but it was so small it looked more like a dog jail (seriously: it was 12' x 18' with a 6' high chain link fence and a huge tree in the middle taking up much of the space), however there are plenty of places to walk dogs on leash in the park and a gas pipeline nearby for longer walks. In short, it's a basic but perfectly functional place to visit the national park from. We would stay here again if visiting Glacier again in the future.
