Big rig friendly. Immaculate restrooms, store, laundry, and grounds. Each site has its own patch of grass, premium sites have larger grass area and nice patio. All sites are gravel and quite level, with FHU, wifi and cable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of literature in the laundry room to plan your itinerary. 15 miles from GNP’s West Entrance. Very close to cute town of Columbia Falls for dining, groceries and night life.Children could become bored here at the park. There is no common area, rec room, playground or pool, but a neighborhood playground is half a block away and a community pool is just down the street. There is also a waterpark nearby.
When all is said and done, not bad, just okay

We were escorted to our site after check-in, the guys very nice. Every site is full hookup. Back in sites may be the quietest of the bunch. The bad: Specific sites cannot be guaranteed....told 39 on the phone, confirmation email said 36, when we got there we were put in 37. The back in sites are small and close together. The pull through sites had more room but at $70/night for back in I didn't want to look at the price for the pull throughs. It was the only place that had availability two months in advance of our stay. The pull through sites near the entrance by the road were very noisy. There is no view other than other RV's, nothing super special, a slot to sleep in. It was all just okay.
A little pricey, but no complaints

The office staff were beyond friendly and helpful - to the point, they let us borrow their ladder so we could clear off our slide-out awnings from the snow and ice in order to slide them in, and at first said there was no problem we'd be departing after the 11:00 AM checkout (later, when it was evident we had several hours remaining to clear off the slide-out awnings [4], I returned to the office to pay for another night). The grounds are kept immaculate! They have a great off leash dog area in one corner of the park. They're fantastically located in Columbia Falls and VERY close to Glacier... AND they're right across the road from fishing access on Flathead River! The only reason I'm holding back the 5th star, the site we had was unlevel, to which out automatic air leveling could not get us level after one of the staffers assisted us to our site. Had I not been assisted, I would have likely pulled out some blocks to take out the low spot in our site, but in the end, only a minor issue.
Close to Glacier & very clean!

There is definitely a sense of pride in the ownership and the grounds were meticulously clean and organized during our stay. The campground in urban and close to a grocery store, gas station and right around the corner you can get some amazing jerky! This campground is one of the few that still had openings after Oct 1 so if you are looking for late season camping this place stays open until Oct 31. Internet was basic - no streaming, but Verizon coverage was very good.
Convenient campground to visit Glacier.

We actually had a neighbor that had to use some of our grass area to put down his jacks and put out his slide. Just made it a lot more tighter for us. Very clean laundry room and bathroom. There is a park, River's Edge Park that is a mile walk from the RV park with views of Flathead River. Great way to get your walk in! On Thursday, Columbia Falls has a great Farmer's Market within walking distance of the park. Be sure to make time to visit Whitefish, too.

It is by a well used road that goes to Glacier so it was noisy and you can hear a train in the distance that seemed not to have much of an itinerary since we heard it at 2am, 5 am, sometimes 7am.My husband would stay again but I wouldn't. We didn't feel like being outside because it was too close to the other rig.Staff was super nice.

Great coffee and snacks at Uptown Hearth. Great hamburgers at Gunsight Solon. Lots of rules, but that is why the campground is so clean and inviting. Larges sites for really big rigs. Sites close to entry road could be noisy. Easy access to Glacier Park. Will stay again of course. Wi Fi was better then most.

It's always fun to explore a new town by foot or bike when possible. Granted, Columbia Falls isn't a very big town, but there are a couple of nice restaurants within a 1/2 mile of the campground. If you like live music, the Gunsight Saloon has bands every evening during the summer season. The location is a great launching point for exploring - Glacier NP, Whitefish Lake, downtown Whitefish, Flathead Lake.....and so much more. Be sure to venture up the road to the town of Hungry Horse and grab yourself a Huckleberry shake. The park itself is standard with both back-ins and pull-throughs. The gravel sites are level and long enough for big rigs. A small patch of grass separates you from your neighbor and comes with a redwood picnic bench. The hook-ups are up towards the front of the rig. Good Wifi helped us get some work done without burning our cellular data.We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but would most likely look for something up in the mountains just to get a different experience.
