We were in need of FHU after about 10 days of boon-docking in the Tetons and Yellowstone. Not a ton to do for kids so I gave it 4/5 stars, but one of the workers let them use their dvds which I appreciated. Their restaurant had delicious pizza, and given there is no town or groceries nearby one of the workers was SO kind to get coffee creamer at the store for me! Amazing customer service! We drove to Cliff and Wade lakes per a workers recommendation and it’s beautiful! Did not use showers so cannot speak to that but their workers seemed on top of their jobs!

  • Amazing views! Great food! Night sky is on another level out here!

The family that runs this place treats you like you are part of their family. That is huge. They were so nice! They walked us around when we arrived and let us pick the site we liked best. Which ended up being right next to the playground area for our 3 kids. They have the usual amenities, plus an awesome restaurant on the property that had great food and music. All family-friendly. You will appreciate the restaurant because it's in between Ennis and West Yellowstone, 40 minutes either way. You are out in the middle of nowhere. Which we enjoyed. If you're into star gazing this is a great place for it. I have never seen the night sky as I did there. We could see the milky way galaxy with our naked eye. NOT JOKING. It was dim but visible. No light pollution at all. We made several trips to Yellowstone National Park while there. Still need to go back as we did not have enough time since Yellowstone is such a massive park. There is a lot of driving to do out there and the roads are 2 lanes. But the 70 mph speed limit sure helps. FYI, they do close down for the winter months. We would stay here again.

  • Nice people, awesome bar/restaurant, amazing Verizon service, and close to Yellowstone!

I loved my stay here. The place is kind of out in the middle of nowhere, so definitely make sure to stock up on groceries and gas before you come out. It's about 30 minutes to West Yellowstone, which is also probably the closest place for any services.I got site #23 which was on the end right by the office and bar/restaurant, and had a nice big lawn area. The site was a nice and level pull-through and big enough for my rig and truck to both fit. I'm not a fisherman myself, but almost everyone else at this campground seemed to be either a guide or there to fish. So I'm guessing if you like to fish, this is the place to be. Both the staff and other campers here were all very nice and friendly. There is a small bar/restaurant on the campground where everyone seems to hang out pretty much every night and it's a great time in there. Surprisingly they had a great selection of draft beers with some awesome local IPAs. The food was also really good. Having this place just down the road was one of my favorite parts about this park. The thing that surprised me most here was how amazing the Verizon service was. I was worried going in because I had about 1 bar of 3g, but once I got into the campground I had full signal LTE and it stayed that way the entire time I was there.I never used the restroom/shower, but I did peek in there and they looked nice. I used the laundry facility, which wasn't the best I've seen at an RV park, but it got the job done. Overall this place was a perfect base for me to visit Yellowstone. It was pretty far to get to any gas or groceries, but having the bar/restaurant on premise made up for it!

  • Good experience. Very nice veiws. Super friendly manager.

Was a great stop to check out Yellowstone, Teton and Jackson! Would probably not stay again just because it's 35 minutes to the West Yellowstone Entrance. It was a great last minute place though. Price was fair for full hookups and nice management. Clean restrooms and showers.
