We call to check if this campground had a spot for 2 night and she said they would but she had a appointment and would be back by 5:00 this was around 3:00 we arrived at 6:00 pm and she had not returned so we pick a spot and set up.The next morning we left around 9:30 for Glacier and the same note was on the door from the day before....moreWe call to check if this campground had a spot for 2 night and she said they would but she had a appointment and would be back by 5:00 this was around 3:00 we arrived at 6:00 pm and she had not returned so we pick a spot and set up.The next morning we left around 9:30 for Glacier and the same note was on the door from the day before. We return around and a young man was working and he was very friendly but a little slow I’m taking he don’t work there much or had just started and that was all ok. I ask him about the laundry and said the washer was broken. The biggest issue was all the local dogs roaming the campground and the campground has trash cans at each site and camper had used them and the dogs would by and scatter trash everywhere.

  • Very functional location, relatively cheap, Res “ambiance”

The earlier review is all factually accurate (tho’ who knows what the neighbors will be like). But putting Sleeping Wolf in the context of the area requires a higher rating. 50 amp etc. & water at one row of sites, (cheaper) dry camping in another row. This park is in Browning MT on the Blackfoot Indian Res and it’s outside the dodgy town, away from the highway, and the guests are from all over the US. The other RV parks near St Mary’s are $$$, lack glowing reviews, and are hard to get into, so this park serves a functional purpose re: location. You don’t come here to be here (tho’ there’s lots of open area for the pooches to run in). You come here to be able to visit Glacier and/or head north into Canada.

  • Very disappointing for a Good Sam Park.

The sites were level, long, narrow and easy to get into. There were trash cans at numerous sites that had no lids so animals and the wind were issues regarding garbage. There were many free roaming dogs from the area visiting the sites at dinner. Wifi and cell service were good at the site. There was one washer and dryer available. The staff at check in were very friendly. The noise level was unacceptable. Our neighbors had many local visitors well after midnight so there was no quiet hours.
