Sites are close together. Facilities are nice. Good Sam discount saved us 10%. Campground a bit noisy during quiet time, 10 PM to 7 AM with vehicles coming and going. Good Wifi on-site. The hosts were very nice and helpful.

Some of the sites have no shade and were closer (there is a mix of back-in and pull throughs like this one).Full disclosure: no pets on board here.

The pics on Campendium look a little outdated, but unfortunately I didn't take any current ones to share. We felt that the park was very nice. The staff was friendly and we saw them walking around all day long helping people, cleaning facilities, etc. Our site was level (no leveling blocks needed) and long enough for our 39' class A plus full size pickup. Our site was on an end so we had tons of room outside of our door. The grounds were clean, trash emptied often, bathrooms were clean, easy access off of I-90. The good: proximity to downtown Bozeman - only 1-2 miles from downtown so very easy access to anything you need in town. We didn't have time to explore much other than downtown and the Bozeman Recreation Area due to a work day. The bad: noise! I hope you like trains; lots and lots of trains. Oh, and the interstate. Yep, lots of noise all day and all night. The ugly: cell coverage. Not sure what's up with the network coverage in this area of town. We had 2-3 bars of Verizon 4G but still struggled with sluggish service while we tried to work. Sometimes it was fine but would then slow down and/or bounce for a while. Very aggravating if you're on web meetings and/or up/download documents often. We were right next to the office so had a little bit of WiFi availability, but it would come and go also.

  • The only place we have stayed that would be avoided in the future. **This park is now Bozeman Trail**

This park felt safe and the staff seemed nice upon check-in. Besides the high price which is likely comparable for the area, the sight we were in felt quite narrow. For an overnight stay no biggie and we are not particularly picky. The issue for us was all of the noises. Many rv parks are beside train tracks and a road however this was exceptional. Train whistles all night, lots of road noise, but wait there is more. We have 2 50 pound dogs and understand how things are but there were dogs barking insistently, people yelling after "quiet hours" etc. Not worth the money at all. Stopping on the shoulder of the highway may have been less noisy. This is the point in which management should ask people to be respectful of other. I get that they cannot move the trains or road.Moral of the story, if you have to stay her bring ear plugs. PS. I hate to leave a poor review but I have to warn my fellow RVer

This campground is conveniently located adjacent to I-90, which unfortunately makes it a noisy place to stay as you hear cars going by all day and night. Add to this a train track on the other side of the campground that woke me up four times in one night, not because of the train sound on the tracks, but because the train blew its horn each and every time.Besides the noise factor, this is a nice campground with wonderful staff. The owners were very polite, friendly, and helpful. We used the laundry facilities which worked great. The owners have an extensive DVD library that you can borrow from during your stay, as well as a library of books that they said were free to take. This seemed like a really nice bonus for anyone interested. Each site is a level, gravel site. Most are pull through sites. Tent campsites are also available. The Wifi was the fastest of any campground we've been at lately and was reliable through the evening. We also had excellent AT&T service. TV service is what's available from direct broadcast. No cable access at each campsite.

It's stuck right between a very busy railroad track (yes, even at night) and Interstate 90. There appeared to be several "campers" who had been there a while but the bath/shower rooms were very clean and the hosts are exceptionally friendly. The site was very level, always a plus. Gravel interior roads and pads. They have propane and a dump onsite too. We got full hookups and refilled a propane tank the next morning before heading out. It was a rough night sleeping because of the trains and trucks on the highway. We'd stay there again if we had to. I can't remember exactly what we paid but it was around 35 to 40.

Everywhere else we have dumped and filled up has been $5 total, so we were a bit surprised. He was very rude and made several remarks about how cheap we were and if we needed a free place to stay, we could go to walmart. When someone else walked in, he said "let me help this guy that doesnt want to pay for anything". What. A. Jerk.

Hook ups- check. You stay here because you can ride your bike 1.7 miles right into downtown Bozeman. Its not necessarily a kid-friendly ride (you cross a few hairy highway exits/entrances) but its safe enough. And you probably won't be drunk on your way home because all the breweries close at 8pm (grrrrr). But if you got an early start then I recommend a cab. You also stay here because the owners are so friendly you'll suspect an ulterior motive. But no, they have none. They are just super nice.

The sites can be fairly tight and there is train noise, but I really liked this campground because the owners, Marty and Mary Jo are so nice and accommodating. I was fortunate to have site #39 at the end so didn't have neighbors on one side. It is very close to the central area of Bozeman, which was quite convenient.
