The free WiFi at the office worked great, just too bad no signal at the sites.

There is some road noise during the day but not bad at night. We had close access to Many Glacier where we spent most of our time. Also close to St Mary. Only drawback for us was the condition of the bathroom. We knew ahead of time they needed work. Showers were in poor but working condition. The men’s is in worse shape than the women’s. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Laundry room was clean and in good condition. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. We had good cell service and free WiFi at the visitor center

  • Great location, fair prices, friendly, but in need of some facility maintenance

It is situated on the lake and has a boat ramp. I suspect it has a small swimming area, but did not visit it myself. The campsites are surrounded by trees, and although not far from highway 89, the road noise was not too bad.I was able to make voice calls with acceptable quality. I could stream video intermittently, but it got a bit frustrating one of the three nights I was there. I like the primitive nature of the sites and the overall campground. They have a couple of common facilities with showers, sinks, and flush toilets. But one of them was closed because it needed repairs and the other was in a rather sad shape. The showers were barely functional and some might refuse to use them as is. This is the biggest turn-off for me, as I'm a tent camper (for now) and having a quality shower and flush toilets is a real boon. The staff was friendly and readily refunded part of my fees when I told them I needed to leave earlier than originally planned. A full refund of the two nights I was not going to be there. I managed to get a backcountry camping permit, so leaving was not due to any disatisfaction with the campground.Would I stay here again? If I'm tent camping, yes. But if I could find another site nearby with good shower and toilet facilities I'd pay an extra $5 per night and stay there. If I were in an RV with a shower and toilet, I would certainly stay here. The location alone makes it so convenient to some of the best areas of the park, short of paying big bucks and staying in the park.

The staff will tell you that there is a Verizon signal, but it is non-existent when you are in the park. It seemed lovely here if you don't need internet, but if you need to work find another park. No Verizon, at&t, or wifi.

They waited until the absolute last minute (the week before) to cancel, and only after we contacted them to inquire into extending our reservation. If we hadn't, we'd have traveled all the way to Glacier to discover upon arrival. We called ReserveAmerica and waited two hours on hold to talk to a supervisor who backed them up and refused to acknowledge their error (it was a campground cancellation). They stole $183.50 from us. DO NOT STAY HERE, EVER. BUYER BEWARE.

This is a huge grassy area on Black Feet reservation land, run by native Americans with a real respect for keeping the land natural. There are full hookup sites, tent sites and water/electric, so lots of options. It’s located on the north end of St. Mary lake which is beautiful on it’s own and easily accessible from the park itself. We didn’t use the bathrooms so I can’t speak to the complaints there although on visual inspection they appeared modern with tile and modern fixtures. A short road through a lovely grove of aspens takes you from the office to the RV/camping section. The office is located on a separate part of the park adjacent to a huge area used for Indigenous people’s ceremonies complete with rentable authentic teepees. This area is wide open and great for dog walking and exploring or lake viewing. You’re maybe 20 minutes from the East Glacier entrance, 30 minutes from Browning which has groceries and supplies. The closest town is Babb which has a small general store (no gas so you have to go to Glacier entrance area for that). If you want to be chock-o-block with your neighbors, with swimming pool and lots of amenities then go to the KOA at the other end of the lake (same lake by the way). If you want wide open spaces, beautiful views, huge grassy parking and easy access to the Glacier area this is it. There’s also a super camp mascot herding dog named T-Rex who’ll greet you, become your temporary friend and generally endear you to the place and to him as well.

$45 (+$3.50 fee) gets you a site with water and electric only. There are toilets and showers which are absolutely disgusting (see photo). Shower is ice cold. WiFi only in the office was very slow. Go up the street for better amenities for the same price.

The bathroom smelled of mold and no hot water was available. I would not use it. The grass was way too tall. A lot of maintenance is needed. But good views of the mountains and lake access. They dinged us a 3.50 reservation fee when we walked up.

In the summer this could be a very good option if you don't have reservations in the park or don't want to take the risk of not getting one in Many Glacier or St. Mary, this is located about halfway between the two. There are tons of sites, and it was not busy even in busy season, so it's likely you'll be able to get a site. Dry sites are $20, full hookups are $50. You could fit any size rig in here, it looks like some of the locals live here full time possibly. The place looks a little scary at first blush, but take a look around at the sites and you'll see it's not so bad.
