Site #5 is a good one on the stream. Picnic table, fire pit, electric, dump station and wifi. the cell signal is good as you’re 2 mins from the town of Arlee. The only negative is the proximity to highway 93, but the noise dies down at night.
Splendid!

We spent a couple of.nights at a site bordering the river (just electric with a full water tank) and a few nights in the island spot with full hookups. The only downside was the traffic noise from hwy 93, but even that was manageable when you take in to account the prettiness of the River and park itself. This is our new go to spot when we’re in the Missoula area.

Fortunately I have silicone ear plugs for such occasions so I was able to get a good night’s sleep. They accept cash or check only at the time of our stay (8/17/20). Electric only at the sites but there was free portable water and a dump station on premises. Very clean bathrooms. There weren’t many sites available because there appeared to be a lot of long-term campers.

GPS mapping will lead you astray!! Once you find the campground, it’s small, intimate and located right on the Jocko River though awfully close to the Hwy 93 bridge over the river.
