We had family flying in from out of state and hoping to keep the elder relatives cool and be able to visit with them still we wanted a cabin. One who was a veteran we were hoping to see but he was unable to attend then because of the heat and his age and health. They said we could have two other smaller houses but over booked those as well and left over hundred people scratching our heads wondering where they were going to lay their heads down and not have to worry about it. They had a wedding booked and seen it as an opportunity to make more money. With not much other choice in the matter some brought campers and tents and cramed into one camp site. Those who didn't have either of those, were forced to rent a camper for $135.00 per night. I have Fibromyalgia so I needed to stay out of the heat as well or I'll feel sick. Hoping to get a nice camper trailer we were told it would be a full bed which was a cramped twin bed fold down couch my family from out of state had to sleep on all weekend and the horrible smell of musty mold when we walked inside of the camper. It was hardly clean the shower was for a infant. There was black mold all around the freeze door and wasn't very clean inside. We were really disappointed in the services we received while staying there. I don't recommend it.
TERRIBLE!!!

Traffic along our site was like being next to a freeway. There is no quiet time. People were flying by in cars and utvs up until about 4:00 a.m.! Fireworks were being shot off at campsites. And then my sister in law caught a man taking pictures of her and her kids while taking shower. When park security and the owner of the camp was notified it was being brushed off like nothing happened! She had to call the cops herself to get help. This is not a family place! We will never come back again.

Out of all the camping places this is the best one yet. You have plenty of room and all the hook ups including sewer. Access to store, swimming pool, live bands on weekends and quiet at nights. Will definitely be back.
Good time celebrating Halloween

The pipe is in place but not yet hooked up. The managers have a tractor that will come around and empty you on site in the interim so not a big inconvenience. The sites are about as level as most and most are easily accessible. I had a 38 ft 5th wheel and went to the end, a circle drive, and turned around to be able to back into site 21. They have a restaurant that is good but expensive. Often there is either live music up front or some entertainment. I think this will be much nicer once the dirt settles in after the sewer is run, clay mud is a bit messy at this point. This is a pretty spot in the area that the University Forest used to own and sold off to the private owner that now has it. Cabins are available and tent sites too. Fire ring, raised trash hook, pedestal charcoal grill, water, electric and sewer at our location are all easily reachable with standard length hose and not in the way of slides. We will return here again.
