Okay, so I used to work here and make the reservations for the campground. I'll keep this short. There are 30A and 50A sites, some with water and sewer, most are electric only. The sites are very close together, however all sites do offer some shade. The pads are gravel and not all are level. There is a courtesy dock for anyone with a boat and it is free to use, as is the boat ramp. The bathhouse is old and ill maintained and the showers are not private. It is dirty and run down. The owners are great, but do not want to put in the resources to keeping this place running. The only reason this campground gets rented out is from the full-timers living here, as the monthly rates are low (~$235). Or unassuming visitors picking it over the others in the area as it is closest to town. Go elsewhere, you will be happier.Pick any of the Corp of Engineer campgrounds in the area for a MUCH nicer experience for around the same price. A little further South is the State Park, again a much better experience.A note on cell coverage: Verizon is the only game in town for the whole area. At this particular campground you may see 1-2 bars of LTE, or you may see no coverage. It is very spotty. There is no WiFi.
