If you’re looking for a camp site that is a true experience (lots of people to talk to, pretty views, campfire ring, etc.), this is NOT the place for you. This is mostly full-time campers. This is mostly full-time campers. But we tend to find a place to camp and then are gone most of the time while we explore all around us. So this worked out perfectly. Rick, who runs the place, is very personable and gave us some ideas to do in St. Joe. The bath house was very clean and a laundromat was available. Wifi available but not real strong. New concrete pad, so very level. Some road noise but we barely noticed it. If you’re not looking for a campsite experience but more of a base, then this place will be good!

This is a small park off Interstate 29 in St. Joseph, MO. The only amenities is the shower/laundry room, the fitness room, and Wi-Fi. The shower/laundry room is a one bathroom/shower trailer with two washers and two dryers. The fitness room is a small storage building with three pieces of workout equipment (treadmill, elliptical, an...moreThis is a small park off Interstate 29 in St. Joseph, MO. The only amenities is the shower/laundry room, the fitness room, and Wi-Fi. The shower/laundry room is a one bathroom/shower trailer with two washers and two dryers. The fitness room is a small storage building with three pieces of workout equipment (treadmill, elliptical, and bike), very small and crowded. The Wi-Fi had a good signal. The full timers are every where. They have "stuff" scattered all over and are very messy. I noticed that several of the full timers have dogs that they walk around and do NOT clean up after. The manager isn't very helpful and refused to step out and show me where he wanted me to park, he just stood on the porch and pointed it out. I passed it up and had to drive back around to get parked. My tips to make this a better park would be to weed out some of the full timers and have some standards for the ones that stay to keep it clean and representable. The one good thing is the park is located close to town where there are several shopping places and restaurants.

Needed a spot for one night and limited choices. This is a smaller park (22 spaces) with about 18 permanent residents, when you see a hot tub in front of one you know they will be here a long time. This is a smaller park (22 spaces) with about 18 permanent residents, when you see a hot tub in front of one you know they will be here a long time. Payment is cash or check only, no credit cards. Had to block the drive for check in. 4 pull thru sites that are not the greatest. I was given a site next to a 4 lane highway. Curb side of trailer was actually street side of the park, can't use an awning. Not much good to say about this place Photo's will show how close I was to the highway.
