This location is on the outskirts of Eminence and right on the Jacks Fork, so convenient for paddling access. Windy's will pick up you and your gear and transport you to a put-in upstream so you don't even have to move your vehicle. We're here over Mother's Day weekend and they had multiple cancellations due to bad weather. Although there are several trailers/fivers that seem to be semi-permanent, most of the campground is deserted. Nice to have it to ourselves. There is a laundry facility and a modest campground store but no evident activities. The biggest disappointment is the wi-fi. It simply doesn't reach our site or many others, so is useless for a large portion of campers. Also there is no Verizon or T-Mobile available. We were able to use the OnStar connection on my truck to access a strong AT&T data signal, so did have a connection but would have had none without that. There is no OTA broadcast TV either. It's a good place to stay to enjoy as a base of operations for visiting the wonders of the Qzark river system, but there are cheaper options and nothing compelling about the park itself.
